DO NOT BUY FROM WESTEND MEDICAL SUPPLY!…read more I ordered products from Westend Medical Supply based on their products listed on their website and the associated pictures. When the bill arrived I tried to use the QR Code to pay the bill. After several attempts a screen popped up saying to call the toll free number. The reason for two stars instead of one is because the customer service representative Edrian was very nice. He took all the information and also had my information so I knew he was aware of my account invoice. Just as requested a email came verifying the invoice was paid. I may unsubscribe from emails. They want you to download the app and set up recurring payments. I sure hope I don't need anymore medical equipment of any kind!! If I do I'll have to use whatever company NYU Langone uses. Having gone through this several times over the years has once again convinced me I have a better chance of God creating a miracle than ever getting this damn thing fixed. They need all these approvals and assume my doctor is some kind of mechanical wheelchair engineer who knows all the functions of an electric wheelchair. It is bad enough they can't cure multiple sclerosis but that is a whole other story. This one is about the foot rest being broken and God help anyone else if yours breaks because you might as well dig a hole in your backyard. Even when home medical equipment has all the paperwork they still don't submit it in a timely fashion this one has been around on a desk somewhere for a week. The woman in charge had the flu. Whenever she wants she can trade multiple sclerosis for the flu. I would raise my hand but it has not moved in about five years. I hope the flu has gotten better but it won't matter. Try this life. I guarantee you could not handle it. I would hand you a tissue but when my my nose is runny I just let it drip. I don't have a choice. Do your job or someone else should do it for you. It is typical but still extremely inappropriate.

From start to finish, the dedication, patience, and compassion they showed was above and beyond. This was not a simple transaction; it was a step-by-step process that required careful coordination between my doctor's office, the insurance agency, and myself. Franklyn worked alongside me the entire way, guiding and supporting with care until everything was completed. The team's professionalism and genuine compassion turned what could have been a stressful experience into a smooth, reassuring journey. I would especially like to highlight the outstanding teamwork: * Franklyn - Oversaw every step of the process, from managing insurance claim documents to coordinating with the doctor's office, ensuring the wheelchair order and delivery were perfectly handled. * Tina - Delivered my medical equipment with patience and professionalism, walking me through the functions and operation in detail. I also love her personality. * Robert - Assembled the product with skill and efficiency, ensuring everything was set up correctly. * Mary, Debbie, and Sonia - Essential members of the staff whose behind-the-scenes support kept the process moving seamlessly. Because of their dedication, I now have the medical equipment I need, and it was done with such compassion and care that it deserves recognition. J&K Medical Equipment at 158-23 Horace Harding Expressway, Flushing, NY, sets the standard for what true customer service should look like.
