Having just got married on September 10th, I can confidently say that hiring Moriches Catering was the best decision we made throughout the planning process. Anthony and Carmen are simply the best and know exactly what they are doing. They were there with us for every step of the way- selecting the menu, picking out rentals (linens, chairs, etc.) and executed our vision perfectly. People are still raving about the food and how amazing the wedding was. We had flank steak, scallops and lemon/herb chicken and everything was just delicious- not your typical "wedding food." Many of my guests commented that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. We had a relatively small wedding- 85 people or so, and Anthony worked with us to keep costs down and explore different options within our budget. Anthony and Carmen take so much pride in their work and truly care about making your wedding day picture perfect. I couldn't imagine accomplishing my dream day without them. The first time I contacted Anthony and Carmen, inquiring about their services, Anthony talked to me on the phone for 45 minutes- asking questions about me and my fiance, what our vision was and going through various menu options. Other caterers that I spoke to just couldn't be bothered and didn't give the time of day. Not only did a friend of ours who is also getting…read moremarried soon ask us for her info while we were still at the wedding, but even the bridal attendant at our venue said that Janet was wonderful, which was especially meaningful to us since she also told us that often the day-of coordinator and bridal attendant end up stepping on each other's toes a bit, which was not at all the case here. She kept everything and everybody on track, and there wasn't even the slightest hiccup of any kind throughout the entire day. Our parents initially weren't entirely on board with the idea of a day-of coordinator, but relented after the day went so smoothly. We were all able to fully enjoy the wedding, and be guests at our own party!

While she wasn't exactly what I was looking for, she was EXACTLY what I needed to get through my daughter's first birthday. Yvonne and her crew were BEYOND what I envisioned. They were so helpful and executed everything I wanted to the T and more. They managed my OCD extremely well and gave so many beautiful add ons and extras that I truly know my party would've lacked without her expertise and help. I miss connecting with Yvonne now, but I know that we'll get together for another party soon. :)

I am pretty upset that even with Covid canceling my wedding that the owner of MIA Party Creations…read moredidn't have a heart to give back my $500 deposit. I came to her in September 2019, my wedding was suppose to be June 28th 2020. The INVOICE says non refundable. But due to Covid 19 which was out of my hands and out of hers - she didn't have a heart to give back my deposit. Every other vendor gave back all deposits without even a blink of an eye because Covid was effecting everyone. Covid was an "act of god". When I had a conversation with the owner I was called "hunny" and was belittled and felt she was being condescending. She continued to make remarks such as "time is money sweetie" "let's not get it twisted I'm done here" and states the following: "ok np as ypi said you will not neededing about services by your choice not ours so ypu officially have canceled our non- refundable contract" Canceling the non refundable contract when I was having a conversation about finances and how I don't have any future events planned. She stated I could use the $500 on a future event, but with the hole Covid has put me in even year later I couldn't even fathom spending money on a party when I loose sleep at night how I am going to put food on the table for my children. I shouldn't have to either loose my $500 OR have to spend more money in the future to use up that $500. Even when I have tried to think of another party to use it up i contacted her about using the $500 she wanted me to pay an additional $300 towards a service because her pricing has went up. I have even helped her with projects and crafts for her events in the past. I considered her a crafty knowledgeable friend. In our conversation via text she even went out of her way to put down the projects I have went out of my way for her in the past: Stating: "The t shirts you made the letters fell apart" "No one really cared for for them" She came to me I went to her vise versa.for ideas and crafts. I feel very upset that she couldn't see Covid as an act of god and she keeps referring to her "invoice" that states no refunds applicable on deposit payment". No one asked for Covid or their dream wedding to be canceled in order to keep loved ones safe. I had to accept that my wedding HAD to cancel. I am IN HOPES that Mia Party Creation can come to an agreement.

We rented supplies from Camelot for a September outdoor wedding this year. While they did do a…read moregreat job setting up the tent and it looked great, the 1 star review is in relation to their customer service and misleading staff... We made a reservation order which included 2 generators ($700 each) at the recommendation of Lori when explaining the layout. Multiple times we were told that adjustments can be made until day of event so let's just "reserve it for now". Fast forward we did not in fact need 2 generators, only 1. I emailed Lori asking if we can adjust our reservation to only 1 generator, to which I was told "yes no problem we can do that for you". However, they still charged the $700 for it and did not deliver it. I followed up 3x via email regarding a reimbursement and I did not get a response. I called 1 month after event to try and speak to Lori, but had to speak to a different agent instead. Then I was told that "just because the email said no problem doesn't mean you'd get the money back". The company is misleading and avoidant. I highly recommend AVOIDING Camelot and using a different rental company that values customer service a bit more than Camelot.
