They handled all communication with the tent and rental company and gave us honest, thoughtful recommendations on everything from the tablescapes to the alcohol. We truly trusted Lenny, Allison, and the entire team throughout the planning process and never felt like we were being upselled, which we really appreciated. They were very transparent about pricing, and we felt their prices were fair for the quality of the food and level of service they provided. They are really more than just a catering company - they helped us plan and coordinate every aspect of the day. We walked through the timeline for dinner, dances, speeches, etc, and when the day came, Lenny was on-site overseeing it all and making sure the vendors (DJ, photographer, etc,.) were all on the same page. This eliminated so much stress since we did not have our wedding at a traditional venue - we even had to bring in bathrooms! Allison also helped us visualize our layout and table spacing which was so helpful when you're working from scratch. She also helped us sort out some last-minute issues with our tent when our anticipated guest count jumped from 125 to 150. The food was amazing! And plentiful. I'm still thinking about our sushi bar! Our tasting with Lenny was also such an enjoyable part of the planning process. Passed apps were so creative and I loved having so many options to choose from. And as an East End local it meant a lot to me to incorporate locally-sourced and seasonal ingredients, so I loved that Lenny took such care in crafting his menus. My husband and I also had a staff member, Bella, attending just to us. Everybody warns you how hard it is to eat on your wedding day but Bella made sure we had plates of appetizers waiting for us after cocktail hour - she was amazing! We spent 11 months planning our wedding, and I owe it to Moriches Catering for making the planning experience as stress free as possible. Their attention to detail was spectacular and they were always available for a call to discuss any questions. If there were any hiccups on our wedding day, I was completely unaware of them, which is exactly what you want as a bride. From the minute we reached out to Deborah in June of 2020, we knew we needed to work with her. She was unbelievably responsive, but most of all kind and compassionate. Within 20 minutes of speaking with her, we immediately booked her for Day of Coordinator services for our May 1, 2021 wedding. Throughout Fall 2020 and Winter 2021, Deborah continued to be responsive and listen to our worries and concerns. When we made the decision to proceed with a 50-person "micro wedding" on May 1, 2021 and postpone our 300-person reception to March 2022, Deborah was right there to assure us that everything would work out. Leading up to May 1st, we were assigned Kristin as our Day of Coordinator. Kristin met with us and helped to organize our wedding day itinerary, which still involved a decent amount of logistics even though we were still only having 50 people. She followed up with all of our vendors leading up to May 1st to confirm details and timing, as well. Both Deborah and Kristin showed up at our rehearsal on April 30th and even though we were meeting them in person for the first time, it felt like we had known them for years. They were prepared and knew the details of our mass in and out. On the morning of May 1st, Kristin texted us when she was on her way and asked if we needed any last minute items. As soon as she arrived, though, is when we saw the value of having the Deborah Minarik team with us in action. Kristin swooped in and ensured that every single detail (big and small) was handled accordingly. She checked in on the groom, dads and groomsmen to make sure they were all ready, made sure the bride, moms and bridesmaids had all eaten enough and set up all accessories for detailed photos. Kristin worked closely with our photographer and videographer throughout the day to make sure that every photo we wanted was taken and even held the cathedral veil and train throughout countless photos to ensure the perfect shot was taken. When we arrived at our venue, Kristin checked to make sure everything had been set up as requested. She even went to great lengths to find a banner we thought had gone missing and needed for a picture, and even offered to drive back to the hotel to get it (thankfully it ended up being under the sweetheart table). Not once during the day, did we stress about logistics. Kristin was a calming presence and we were so lucky to have her with us. Having her there throughout the day allowed us to be worry-free and truly enjoy every single moment. Hiring Deborah and her team was one of the best decisions we made and we are so thankful that we'll get to work with them again in March 2022. We highly recommend booking them ASAP!

She kept everything and everybody on track, and there wasn't even the slightest hiccup of any kind throughout the entire day. Our parents initially weren't entirely on board with the idea of a day-of coordinator, but relented after the day went so smoothly. We were all able to fully enjoy the wedding, and be guests at our own party!

While she wasn't exactly what I was looking for, she was EXACTLY what I needed to get through my daughter's first birthday. Yvonne and her crew were BEYOND what I envisioned. They were so helpful and executed everything I wanted to the T and more. They managed my OCD extremely well and gave so many beautiful add ons and extras that I truly know my party would've lacked without her expertise and help. I miss connecting with Yvonne now, but I know that we'll get together for another party soon. :)

I am pretty upset that even with Covid canceling my wedding that the owner of MIA Party Creations…read moredidn't have a heart to give back my $500 deposit. I came to her in September 2019, my wedding was suppose to be June 28th 2020. The INVOICE says non refundable. But due to Covid 19 which was out of my hands and out of hers - she didn't have a heart to give back my deposit. Every other vendor gave back all deposits without even a blink of an eye because Covid was effecting everyone. Covid was an "act of god". When I had a conversation with the owner I was called "hunny" and was belittled and felt she was being condescending. She continued to make remarks such as "time is money sweetie" "let's not get it twisted I'm done here" and states the following: "ok np as ypi said you will not neededing about services by your choice not ours so ypu officially have canceled our non- refundable contract" Canceling the non refundable contract when I was having a conversation about finances and how I don't have any future events planned. She stated I could use the $500 on a future event, but with the hole Covid has put me in even year later I couldn't even fathom spending money on a party when I loose sleep at night how I am going to put food on the table for my children. I shouldn't have to either loose my $500 OR have to spend more money in the future to use up that $500. Even when I have tried to think of another party to use it up i contacted her about using the $500 she wanted me to pay an additional $300 towards a service because her pricing has went up. I have even helped her with projects and crafts for her events in the past. I considered her a crafty knowledgeable friend. In our conversation via text she even went out of her way to put down the projects I have went out of my way for her in the past: Stating: "The t shirts you made the letters fell apart" "No one really cared for for them" She came to me I went to her vise versa.for ideas and crafts. I feel very upset that she couldn't see Covid as an act of god and she keeps referring to her "invoice" that states no refunds applicable on deposit payment". No one asked for Covid or their dream wedding to be canceled in order to keep loved ones safe. I had to accept that my wedding HAD to cancel. I am IN HOPES that Mia Party Creation can come to an agreement.

While they did do a…read moregreat job setting up the tent and it looked great, the 1 star review is in relation to their customer service and misleading staff... We made a reservation order which included 2 generators ($700 each) at the recommendation of Lori when explaining the layout. Multiple times we were told that adjustments can be made until day of event so let's just "reserve it for now". Fast forward we did not in fact need 2 generators, only 1. I emailed Lori asking if we can adjust our reservation to only 1 generator, to which I was told "yes no problem we can do that for you". However, they still charged the $700 for it and did not deliver it. I followed up 3x via email regarding a reimbursement and I did not get a response. I called 1 month after event to try and speak to Lori, but had to speak to a different agent instead. Then I was told that "just because the email said no problem doesn't mean you'd get the money back". The company is misleading and avoidant. I highly recommend AVOIDING Camelot and using a different rental company that values customer service a bit more than Camelot.
