bubble gum ice cream $4 for 1 scoop, expensive but delicious
    Stephie P.

5 stars for new ice cream 2 stars for not recycling the ice cream is delicious, but my family if 3 used nearly 10 small plastic spoons to taste test and eat our ice cream, which was served in a plastic cup --- all thrown in the garbage. we asked and they dont offer recycling, in fact they said the whole commercial building doesnt have a recycle bin - wtf? in this day and age and with all the knowledge, how can we be throwing so much plastic waste in the garabge. plastic takes over 400 years to decompose. come on hamoudis, where is your environmental responsibility?

This USED to be the spot ! Not sure if the employees are lacking care, the management has changed .. but it has gone down hill. I would once regard as 5+ stars is not longer close to 1 star. Tonight I ordered a chicken shawarma plate, only to receive cold dry chicken, soggy tomatoes and displeasing lettuce mixture. The saddest part being the chicken. It closely resembled the pita chips but with less flavour. Hoping the franchise will take note and improve!

Shawarma plate, extra side of hummus and veggies to go. (Small salad!)

Food is good. However, they serve the skimpiest shawarma in town. Every time I eat there, I can"t help but feel that I've been ripped off.

We usually order from El Mayor but decided to try this place based on the fact that it seemed you get more in it order for the price.

Small, quiet spot with halal meet. The *chicken breast…read moreplate* is by far the best thing on the menu in my opinion. The sauce has got an amazing flavor and it's the chicken breast is tender and juicy. A friend had the lamb plate, which was ordered medium cooked but I have to say it looked more pink than I would have expected. The waitress said that's how most people order it, but I would recommend jf you're not used to eating lamb, get it well done. And the rice that came with it, was very basic. Nothing great. Each plate comes with an option of soup/salad and fries/rice. The plates range in the $20-$30 range depending on which meat you order so a little bit pricey.

I ordered a family platter on Nov 11, 2022. The online price was 110.00 . By my calculations 109.99 x 13% made it about 125$ . They must have included a tip on the final price without saying anything. Food was average and not a lot of either. Compared to the Monaco family platter which is cheaper this one wasn't very good at all. No grilled vegetables on this platter. The Baba Ganoush was tatesless as well as the hummous and i didn't want to taste the hummous after this. My wife said it was tasteless as well. She makes a better hummous than this place. The grape leaves which i usually look forward to were small and anemic. My wife who isn't arabic makes better grape leaves. The meat was average. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Arabic and Vietnamese food are my favorites. And i go to Dearborn as well for good Arabic food. I get more in Dearborn at a third of the price. Sign me "Cheated out of 150$. "

Stopped in for dinner and was very pleased with the whole experience. Made a reservation (maybe not…read morenecessary) but it filled up so I would recommend. Cool spot that they have. Kitchen is an open concept in the back right of the restaurant. Big bar in the middle and tables/booths throughout. Went with some friends, so we ordered a fair amount of food to try. We ordered the hummus with lamb, the crispy potatoes, falafel, and the mixed grill. Before getting into the food, quick shout out to our waitress. She was amazing. Very attentive without being too much. Walked us through the menu. Was patient with us. I would have gone back for that alone. The food rocked. The hummus with lamb was my friends' favorite. I thought it was very good. Ample serving as well. That goes for everything. No skimpy servings. Almost $20 for hummus with lamb seems a bit pricy but well worth it. The crispy potatoes were very good. The jalapeño added a little kick which opened up the sinuses. Would order again. The falafel was the best I've had. Perfectly fried. Very nice flavor. Could have just eaten those all night and been extremely happy. Finally, the mixed grill was great. It came with chicken, ribeye, kofta, some veggies, rice, and pita. My one complaint would be that the pita was so soggy when it came because it was under the meat and some sauces which was a little unfortunate. Still a good pita though. The chicken was good. Nothing mind blowing. Nice char. My friends really liked it, so different strokes I guess. The ribeye chunks were nice. Solid medium rare-medium cook on them. Solid marinade/seasoning. Not chewy or fatty which was a bonus cause you never know with steak. Finally, the star of the show which was the kofta. If I go back, I only need kofta as my main. I'm not a huge kofta guy but this might have converted me. Grilled to perfection. The lamb was not too overpowering which can sometimes be the case. Very good portion as well (2 big pieces). Rice and veggies were standard. Nothing special; by no means bad. Highly recommend. Can't go wrong here. Curious how similar it is to Phoenicia in Bham (need to try that). 5 big stars.

Loved all the items we got. We shared each appetizer and entree. I'll add pictures to show the yumminess. And the warm most hand towels after the meal add a great final touch. Possibly the only downside is it was crowded downtown and valet was $20 as a result. But besides that, I highly recommend!!
