I told her I purchased them from Ez Pawn as being at least 10k gold. Another employee came to assist and I was able to receive a loan. I am currently in need of a wheelchair and my husband and I were standing right at the counter--literally 2 feet away from the staff--softly discussing whether we wanted to sell a sentimental gift to fund my medical equipment.The female employees behind the counter ganged up on us and verbally assaulted us right to our faces. They openly sneered and said: "Oh well, he must have misquoted these two idiots for a drill cuz ain't no purse cost that much. This bitch over here thinks she's something special." They laughed and declared they were revoking the initial offer just to spite us for pausing to think.To make it worse, a heavily tattooed employee snatched my bag. She used both hands to violently yank and pull open the delicate leather to find an RFID tag, laughing when I warned her about its light-sensitive condition. They tried to jam a massive piece of hardware into it and completely warped and structurally destroyed a rare, out-of-production piece. Because of their malicious destruction, the bag is now unsellable and I cannot purchase the wheelchair I need. A felony property damage report has been filed with the Hammond Police Department. I have a 6-minute unedited video of their faces, their slurs, and their physical destruction of my asset. I am pursuing full legal action against EZCORP.
