The price was comparable to…read moreother stores, and we wanted to support a local store after statewide stay at home orders were starting to lift. The selection process was super easy, I basically just relayed what I was looking for (quality and budget) and within 5 minutes was shown a variety of options and selected my favorite. I was asked to make an appointment per state regulations, which I didn't mind at all. My only concerns were that at no time during the entire process did a single employee (store staff and install crew) wear a mask. Also, beyond the initial requirement for the appointment to come in and pick out the carpet, there was no mention of, or evidence of, precautions taken to ensure the health and safety of the employees or customers in regards to COVID. I felt comfortable enough with the steps that I was personally taking to ensure my families health that I didn't push the issue. However, if you or a family member have health complications that put you at higher risk, it might be something that you'd want to consider when choosing who you'll go with. The other concern was with the install. We had to call and ask that they come back and stretch the carpet along one wall because there was about a 1/4" gap between the edge of the carpet and the base molding. They came back the next morning and fixed it no problem, but it would have been nice to have had it done correctly the first time.

I have not even owned the house one year and have been through a personal nightmare because of a passed inspection that should've failed. He missed plumbing leaks that caused me to tear out an entire kitchen within two weeks of ownership, waterlines ran through the attic and outside wall that freeze that I have to replace and move, he also missed many issues with my HVAC duct work that allowed water from outside into my deteriorating vents and structure of the home that I'm currently trying to remedy! PLEASE be warned.

The job was a complete interior paint of a 17 year old condominium that was previously occupied by an elderly lady who had a rather strange color sense, and painted the place over the years badly. Chad was very helpful in choosing colors and giving me a quote after a thorough inspection. The price was reasonable for the work involved and we set a start date. Work began ahead of schedule, and was completed in a very short time. Best of all, the work was absolutely flawless. Artisan took care of all wall and ceiling fixture removal and replacement, and the finish was absolutely superb. No question that this company does superior work and the final price was exactly what they quoted. I could not be more pleased with the service. Highest recommendation.

Highly Recommend Chatman's Painting INC…read more Chatman's Painting INC did a phenomenal job painting the interior of our home. We have vaulted ceilings and areas where drywall needed to be replaced and repaired, and their workmanship was outstanding from start to finish. The crew went above and beyond every day--clean, professional, and extremely respectful of our home. At the end of each workday, they neatly picked up ladders, paint cans, and drop cloths, leaving everything tidy and organized. Most importantly, Derek's skill and experience truly set this company apart. Our ceilings have a wavy, textured stucco finish, and he was able to cut a razor-sharp, perfectly clean line between the wall color and ceiling--no easy task. The results were flawless and really prove that hiring a seasoned professional with decades of experience pays off in the long run. We also struggled initially with color selection, and the first choices just didn't look right once on the walls. Derek brought in a technical color consultant to help us refine a color palette that matched our vision, and the final result turned out fantastic. If you're looking for high-quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and true professionalism, I can't recommend Chatman's Painting INC enough.
