Tried parking at the front only to be told it was handicap by the two turds that worked in the cargo trailer across selling crap. They stated they work at hammerhead Fred's and it was a handicap spot after I parked. They didn't even ask if I was handicap getting out of the my car. I knew it wasn't though because there is no sign in front of your face. Here ya go Mr Owner or manager some info for you below . Get your place cleaned up. Burnt out signage can't even change a bulb outside on there main sign. Loser place. Save some time and skip this one. GOOGLE FOR YA! Is a handicap sign painted on the GROUND ONLY legal? Signs vs. stencils: what are the ADA requirements for disabled ... No, a handicap sign painted on the ground is not legally sufficient on its own. The ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) standards require a vertical, elevated sign to officially designate a parking spot as accessible. The restaurant's design, featuring a split layout with ample outdoor and indoor seating, is commendable. We shared the captain's platter, which comfortably served 2-3 people. This place is horrible. When we got in to the front and asked for a seat we were not greeted. The girl who led us to our table picked up the menus and started walking towards a table we figured we were supposed to follow her so we did.. we said thank you and she said nothing and walked away. After that our waitress came over and took our order. They got it wrong... when we got the bill my father in law noticed they charged us extra for parking and to use a credit card?!? Like what?!!! That's horrible customer service. And our waitress argued with him about why it was on there she came back and apologized and said she was wrong. But if he wouldn't have looked she never would have told us... we will not be back sad because we have been going for years. read more

This place is a very mixed bag. I would say the atmosphere is pretty cool with live music and a very beachy environment. The service is pretty inconsistent, I've been a couple times and sometimes it's responsive and nice and others they couldn't care less about you, I most recently had the blackened catfish with cheese grits and it was pretty good. The grits were amazing and the fish was a bit over seasoned with a just ok sauce. The place is also pretty dirty with trash and food on the floor. Overall I enjoyed the experience. read more

We visited them for the first time as they had advertised Many specials for St Patrick's day. We called to make reservations but no one answered the phone after 13 minutes of music. We were skeptic that they're too busy but took a chance to drive there. There were like 8 cars and the place was almost empty. Sat at high top and the waitress said specials are only for card holders, rest normal menu. We decided to take a chance and ordered cheese curd, blackened pasta, and seafood platter. Food was bland, no taste unless you added Tabasco sauce. Neighbor table had a birthday and their waitress brought them a drink. We asked our server since St Patty's day is my Bday. Man, this place was phenomenal. We drove to Pineapple Willy's at 4:00pm and wanted to try it out and it was a madhouse. We aren't about all that, so we went back to our side of town to Hammerhead Fred's and it was splendid. We had the swamp bites, little pricey in my opinion. but DAMN. Gator was some of the best i've ever had and the gator boudin was 10/10 to die for. We shared half a dozen of chargrilled oysters and the Captains Platter. The Oysters were pretty good, not the best, but still very tasty. Let me tell you bout this fish and shrimp on the captains platter... Top 3 i've ever had in my life and Seafood is my favorite cuisine so I have had lots of it. Crab Arincini balls were not great, but the french fries is where they lost me a little bit. With zero exaggeration, they were cold... like very cold. Here's why I didn't say anything or complain at the time.. everything else was LEGIT!!!! Our server was awesome with an amazing atmosphere. The plates were scraped clean! We wanted oysters and we got 'em. We had a dozen raw and a dozen of the chargrilled sampler and I'm IN LOVE! We ordered the redfish pasta dish, flounder dish, and mahi tacos... all GREAT! The food was awful. The char broiled oysters look like can oysters. They were $27.95. They sucked. Want oysters go to Hunts. The burger was burnt and the chicken nachos didn't even come with Salsa or guacamole. The restaurant was empty and the didn't even offer a military discount. Overall don't go. read more

We have been wanting to try this restaurant for 2 years. The food was decent, we tried the swamp bites and boudin balls for appetizers. Both were good the swamp bites were a little chewy. They have indoor and outdoor seating, outdoor for sure if you'd like to listen to the live band. Our waitress was friendly but not the best, brought drinks and then didn't come back until we got the check. 2 people had crab legs not the best seasoned and their butter tasted like movie theater butter. One of the many popular seafood places in the PCB area and my friend happens to love seafood. We don't have many options back home in Louisville KY, so we try what we can when in Florida. We came here after some beer tasting but, also did our research before coming here. The garlic bread cheese curds is what basically won me over, I developed a love for cheese curds recently. There is inside and outside seating. We got to sit outside but had protected roofing over us. Our server was friendly and attentive. My friend wanted to try oysters for the first time and opted for a fish platter basically and yes we got the garlic bread cheese curds!!! They were delicious and were able to split between the 2 of us. Now to the interesting part, our server educated my friend how to eat the oysters and actually liked them. My fish platter was good although I thought the fish could be a bit crispier. Other than that no major complaints. The inside looked quite interesting but, a little dark. Souvenir shop had interesting Knick knacks. I'm happy that we ate outside but, would've been just as happy if seated inside. She asked not one, but two servers to pick up our table and both said no. Then the manager got involved. After 45 minutes of still nothing finally a male server came and took the table. We ended up here when the place we wanted to eat at had a 2 1/2 hour wait We added our name to the list and my son and daughter-in-law walked up to the bar for a drink (Bottle of beer) and was there 15 min before being served Our wait ended up being about 40 minutes, servers running around crazy , tables needing cleaned, waited 10 minutes for a waiter to serve us. Our server was great and attentive even as busy as he was Son and DIL got a few different types of oysters and loved them. Says their meals were just ok Me, I had a different experience as my food came out cold, had to wait to get it sent back and when it finally did it was still cold.
