Very clean inside with friendly service and a tap beer selection that's basic but probably has something to suit most folks. I went for the Stone IPA. I ordered a turkey reuben. The sandwich was a little light on meat and a little heavy on some too--creamy coleslaw. The bread stayed crisp at least, and wasn't overly greasy. Good enough for a pit stop, and a nice laid back alternative to Birch Run's chain restaurant offerings over toward the outlet mall.

I've been there twice now…read more First night (Saturday) there was very loud, derogatory rap music playing. Families with kids eat there, they should not have to hear stuff like that. It was very hard to communicate with the server due to the noise. The actual menu is a lot smaller then what is shown on their website. Especially fish options. I had grouper tenders which were small and mostly breading. Not worth it. Fries were excellent. Tartar sauce appeared to be pure mayo, no sign of relish or lemon at all. Ketchup, mustard, and salt were the only condiments on the table, not sure if anything else was available, like cider vinegar or even pepper. It's a pub, you would think all that stuff to be automatic. Second night (9 pm Sunday) I tried to go elsewhere because of my previous night's experience, but not many other options. Most of Alma was already closed. Tonight there was no music playing, so I was able to have a conversation. I had the olive burger with steak fries, my son had boneless wings with Thai sauce and waffle fries. Everything was very good, and a good value for the money. I guess I need a third night to be a tie-breaker.

There was a care for customers that is a little more uncommon during these difficult times. Jen was our server/bartender, she had some great advice on whiskey tasting and mixed some solid cocktails....even has her own creations. Delish! The food was unique too. Really liked the jalapeno/onion strips and battered green beans. Delicious olive burger and waffle fries. If you're looking for a place to relax and enjoy a meal, want a taste of pre 2020 service, this is a great bet. This industry continues to be plagued with labor shortages and I don't envy them one bit but it sure is refreshing to hit those high notes during these difficult times while enjoying a good meal and supporting a small business. I can tell that the good people of Braveheart Pub really appreciate it!

We each had a specialty cocktail which was very good. Our server was personable and well informed. We tried 2 appetizers, the pork belly and crab mozzarella sticks. The pork belly was wonderful. The crab mozzarella were good. Our table ordered Seafood Stew, Ramen Bowl, Ahi Tuna Nacho, and Grilled Chicken 242. We all very pleased with our meal. We look forward to returning and sampling some other menu items.

Savannah was great from beginning to end, her knowledge and expertise shined as she recommended menu items, sauces and homemade chef specialities. The 242 House BBQ was our absolute favorite sauce. Food/Drinks 10/10! We had 2 appetizers, 2 meals and drinks. The Crispy Brussel Sprouts appetizer is hands down one of the best dishes we've had - it's filled with so much flavor with the roasted garlic, bleu cheese, almonds, balsamic - yum! The Tuna Poke Bowl was recommended and it was so healthy, fresh and delicious. I opted for no bang-bang sauce on the bowl and I'm glad I did, it was perfect with the teriyaki on top. The chicken appetizer was tender and juicy, well cooked but it was our least favorite - nothing too creative or special, or flavorful but with the BBQ sauce it was really good. The Jim's Lock & Ladder Burger was amazing - juicy, flavorful, the pimento cheese and burger sauce were a fantastic compliment. The atmosphere is cozy, chic date night vibes. The restaurant filled up quite fast so after our meals we moved up to the bar top to enjoy a cocktail. Highly recommend a Smoked Old Fashioned! Service, food and vibes were all 10/10! We can't wait to bring family back to try it out.
