Great service. Sized my hands and regrouped my woods while I waited. Will go here for my golf needs when I am in town!

I was on the fence about dropping some serious money on golf lessons, but I knew that I not only…read moreneeded lessons but also needed to follow some sort of program. Ultimately it is well worth the cost. My coach Kevin D. is great. Kevin developed a plan and we worked through a lot of different swing issues. We even did a playing lesson out on the course. I love being able to come in and practice indoors when it is cold/hot outside. I have dropped 2 points off my handicap with the 15 lessons that I took. Looking forward to dropping it some more. Overall I would 100% do it again and I plan on extending my plan out when it's time. If you decide to go this route, you need to put the practice in, if you do not you will have wasted your money. You need to take what you learned in your lesson and practice it and get ready to focus on another topic at your next lesson. Thinking of cost, it is roughly the same as going to any legit PGA level golf instructor. The difference is that you have to pay it all up front at GolfTec. But the added benefit is that you get to come in and practice, using all the technology/equipment, and you do not have to pay for range balls. Final thought, I dropped some money on new golf clubs a year prior to starting at GolfTec. I wish I had taken that money and used it on these lessons first. I would have been much further along than I am now. It's funny that people will spend a bunch of money on equipment and then complain how bad they suck at golf. But they don't want to spend the money on lessons so they can use their shine expensive golf equipment. Just go and do it.

The cost for range balls is a little more expensive than I would like but that doesn't stop me from going. They do offer a membership that makes it more worth it. Matts are in decent shape. I wish they would add more targets to dial in distances. I've got multiple lessons from Brooks Ward and he's a great guy. He adjusts to your play level and is easy to talk to. I was shooting mid to low 80s pretty consistently before meeting with him and now I am into the high 70's low 80's after a few months of adjusting to changes. Our lessons were more focused on swing mechanics and specific shot types. The 6 hole course is a great time if you only have a half hour or if you are teaching someone new to the game.

Rolling hills and obstructed views make this course more challenging than it looks. The greens are fast as a NASCAR track, so beware of that. Try to stay on the fairway, because the rough can easily swallow your ball and is somewhat difficult to chip out of. Overall, great time! Quick six holes to finish up a work day! Great for the short game (no driver needed here). I never took anything less than an 8 iron out of my bag! Highly recommend!

While you do have to wait sometimes you know it's for the right reasons. This is the type of environment that you want to take your kids to so they can learn and for those of you who haven't played before the course isn't overwhelming and there are so many par 3's that it gives you confidence while help you learn the game. There is no alcohol on the course and while I know that might not be appealing to all, it does appeal to me because the focus is on learning golf. There is a time and place for everything and as a beginner this is the right environment to learn and grow confidence. There are also many opportunities to take lessons and get on the course lessons from the professionals there. I haven't taken a course, but I plan on signing up for one. At the end of my round, I talked to the guy at the front counter, he took time again to ask me questions about what I needed from a class and explained the pros and cons of the class version vs. a one on one lesson, vs. a on the course lesson. A business will always get high marks for taking the time to listen to why I'm interested in what they are offering and help me understand the different options. Would recomend this place to both beginers and anyone who is focused on learning or refining the game.

I'm in the area for a few weeks and they offer a monthly membership at $75 and a TDY membership at $76. One dollar more for two more weeks of membership is definitely worth it. Most of the fairways are wide enough for the golfer that has trouble off the tees and it is a very playable course for your average golfer. I've enjoyed being able to play here, I just wish that it wasn't the middle of July and that the weather was a little less cruel right now. If you're in the area and don't have too many problems with trying to get on Ft. Lee, this course is worth checking out.

Me and a few guys tried golfing today and quickly changed our mind after a few holes. All three of us rode the course and got caught behind a threesome walking. No problem. We decided to play through the hole they were on. When passing the players a gentleman who claimed to work there yelled at us and said he wasn't going to allow us to jump in front. I tried explaining his group was slower since they were walking and we were riding. He said, "I work here and I know you guys skipped a hole so don't even think about jumping in front of us!" Mr. Douche bag needs to realize just because he works there, he can't determine what hole I start at. All of us were really blown away by his attitude, it ruined our whole game. After complaining to the starter and asking him is we can try a different set of 9, he laughed at us and said "what do you want me to do..? That's golf." No it is not. I've never played at a course where it was wrong to play through a hole with a slow group. On top of that, the greens are horrible and the tee boxes haven't seen water in months. Because of the arrogant and big headed employees who want to ruin everyone's good game, we will NOT be returning and strongly discourage anyone from giving them business. If you want to enjoy a nice leisure day of golfing, find a different course.
