Ultimately it is well worth the cost. My coach Kevin D. is great. Kevin developed a plan and we worked through a lot of different swing issues. We even did a playing lesson out on the course. I love being able to come in and practice indoors when it is cold/hot outside. I have dropped 2 points off my handicap with the 15 lessons that I took. Looking forward to dropping it some more. Overall I would 100% do it again and I plan on extending my plan out when it's time. If you decide to go this route, you need to put the practice in, if you do not you will have wasted your money. You need to take what you learned in your lesson and practice it and get ready to focus on another topic at your next lesson. Thinking of cost, it is roughly the same as going to any legit PGA level golf instructor. The difference is that you have to pay it all up front at GolfTec. But the added benefit is that you get to come in and practice, using all the technology/equipment, and you do not have to pay for range balls. Final thought, I dropped some money on new golf clubs a year prior to starting at GolfTec. I wish I had taken that money and used it on these lessons first. I would have been much further along than I am now. It's funny that people will spend a bunch of money on equipment and then complain how bad they suck at golf. But they don't want to spend the money on lessons so they can use their shine expensive golf equipment. Just go and do it.

They have the trackman which gives you data on the left like impact video, which shows you the ball route and the impact on the head. It's great for practices! You can book bays with your membership for an hour! It is very worthwhile! I was also surprised to see high top chairs as well at each bay for viewing and resting! Super impressed! They have really good sales on tennis, pickleball, and golf clothes and shoes!! The clearance section had shoes at $40! But the driving range is really nice and (all of this is coming from someone without any golf knowledge) they have these really cool mats where you dump all your balls and they come up through the mat set on a tee. The mini golf was great. 18 holes. LOTS of water traps but conveniently placed nets to for when your ball ultimately falls in the water. They open at 9 daily which is great when it's going to be a hot day.

The staff on site is so friendly and helpful, and the coaches are just AMAZING. Our lessons were more focused on swing mechanics and specific shot types. The 6 hole course is a great time if you only have a half hour or if you are teaching someone new to the game.

There is a time and place for everything and as a beginner this is the right environment to learn and grow confidence. There are also many opportunities to take lessons and get on the course lessons from the professionals there. I haven't taken a course, but I plan on signing up for one. At the end of my round, I talked to the guy at the front counter, he took time again to ask me questions about what I needed from a class and explained the pros and cons of the class version vs. a one on one lesson, vs. a on the course lesson. Me and a few guys tried golfing today and quickly changed our mind after a few holes. All three of us rode the course and got caught behind a threesome walking. No problem. We decided to play through the hole they were on. When passing the players a gentleman who claimed to work there yelled at us and said he wasn't going to allow us to jump in front. I tried explaining his group was slower since they were walking and we were riding. He said, "I work here and I know you guys skipped a hole so don't even think about jumping in front of us!" Mr. Douche bag needs to realize just because he works there, he can't determine what hole I start at. All of us were really blown away by his attitude, it ruined our whole game. After complaining to the starter and asking him is we can try a different set of 9, he laughed at us and said "what do you want me to do..? That's golf." No it is not. I've never played at a course where it was wrong to play through a hole with a slow group. On top of that, the greens are horrible and the tee boxes haven't seen water in months. Because of the arrogant and big headed employees who want to ruin everyone's good game, we will NOT be returning and strongly discourage anyone from giving them business. If you want to enjoy a nice leisure day of golfing, find a different course.
