Please close this place already and put in something that would benefit the community. This place…read moreis disgusting for the following reasons. Haven't been in awhile but I took my grandson there in a recent visit to let him play on the dollar rides and look around at what stores were left. A few of the dollar rides worked but some of them didn't. He had to use the bathroom so we went to the second floor bathrooms near the food court. After using the bathroom we found out that the men's room sink didn't work at all, so I couldn't clean him properly. My wife also had to use the bathroom and she was in her wheelchair so I looked for the handicap toilet. It was out of order. The next time I went here it was just me and my wife (again in her wheelchair). We wanted to look around a bit, but first she had to use the bathroom. Mind you the first thing that was wrong was the entrance getting into the mall had a broken handicap door. We went to the first floor bathrooms because I knew they had a family bathroom. I first tried the family bathroom because she needs assistance. The door was locked. I then looked at the men's room and the handicap stall was out of order. I moved her to the women's room and the handicap stall was out of order. She really needs the handicap rails and non of the other stalls had them.

This once thriving mall is now just a shell of its former glory days in the '90s when I was a kid…read moreand going to the mall was the thing to do after school and the weekends. I was shocked to see so many vacant lots, especially in the food court. I was pleased to see that at least Osaka Japan Sushi is still operating, but the great Greek restaurant and Chic-Fil-A are long gone. There is a new seafood restaurant near the main entrance at least which I've heard is so so also. You won't find any high end stores like Neiman Marcus or even an Apple Store here in this mall. I'm glad to find a record shop and an arcade available. Rumors swirling around Mays Landing suggest that this mall may be closing soon and be headed for demolition. I'll miss this once nice mall if that day comes.

I spent 4 days in the Village -midweek-during June 2026. Lots of fun shopping. Plenty of gifty…read moretype shops, but also some specialty shops like a cooking gadget shop, a store selling lovely things from Ireland, a shop selling things from Italy and a Christmas shop open all year long. Prices are what you'd expect from a tourist location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of places to get food and beverages. Definitely worth the trip, but I understand it's absolutely packed on weekends. I have some mobility issues, but there are plenty of places to sit. I think most of the grounds are accessible for a wheelchair or baby carriage, but the ground is a bit uneven in places so you need to be careful. One thing to note is that most shops are not really wheelchair accessible, nor can they accommodate a stroller, although some have ramps. The shops are quite full of merchandise, so it would be hard to move around with a wheelchair or stroller.

Small Cutesy little Village…read more We came on a whim around noon and walked around shoppes. I liked them, but they weren't very unique. Ate at Fred and Ethel's Lantern Light Tavern. The wait for 2 people was 45mins around 2pm, but as we finished eating around 330pm the restaurant was getting emptier. Food was average. There isn't much for kids to do. Just a carousel, s'mores, train ride ($4 per person for a 5min ride) and the talking tree. You can do everything in under an hour and everything is more fun after dark of course. I was very excited for the "light show," which was extremely underwhelming. There was maybe 20ish little trees made of lights, spread out around the lake area and they were flashing synced with songs. Seriously... that is it... Lake was dried out so maybe that took away from the experience ? Doubt it. My partner and I had a great time, but it is not somewhere I would like to visit more then once.
