The doctor was a complete jerk and because she had to have special anesthesia was irritated that he had to apply it every 15 minutes. Why would someone want a needle jammed in their mouth every 15 mins if they didn't need it? She could have had her throat close up and died from it. He then proceeded to say at the end of the procedure that he was almost done so he didn't need to apply it again and it wore off. He then worked on her for 30 mins after the anesthesia wasn't working. It's been three months and she is still having problems with her mouth because of this unprofessional arrogant know it all. Needless to say, if you have any thing out of the ordinary then this doctor is not for you. He owns this place and thinks he's king of the endodontic world. Horrible customer service and I called to complain and they told me to write them a letter.

After my long time family-friend dentist retired I was finally ready to go to someone more local…read more My husband was goading me into going somewhere more modern after her found Angell last year. I had to change insurance and check in with them a few times to make sure I was covered and after that scheduling has been smooth sailing. My teeth cleaning went well, the hygienist Debbie told me a lot about my mouth and teeth that no one ever mentioned to me. They then got me scheduled to fix a crack in one of my fillings the following week. That appointment also went well, it was the most comfortable dental work I've ever had done - I didn't feel a thing other than the novacaine injections which they even numbed beforehand. They have mentioned doing something like Invisalign due to my crowding which is something that has never been a concern of mine, I trust they're being honest since I have a little snaggletooth, never had braces and my teeth are indeed tight. Dr Steve gave me a rough estimate and run down of how their process works and it's probably something I'll return for when I have the funds since it will help my future self. They play HGTV in the lobby and most dental rooms which is a nice distraction! It's a big place for only two doctors.

I started going to Dr. Copeland on the recommendation of neighbors when my old dentist retired. He…read moreseemed competent although he and his hygienist had an odd habit of bickering with each other while they worked. Then I had to get a crown. It never fit right, and after a year and two or three adjustments he agreed to replace it. The process of removing the old crown was brutal. He pounded on my tooth hard enough that I began to wonder if he was angry about having to redo it without compensation. The pain was enough to bring me to tears, something that had never happened to me at the dentist. After that I decided to go elsewhere. Fast forward 4-5 years. The replacement crown--which never did feel quite natural-- failed so I had to have it replaced, this time by a different dentist. I was amazed that the process of removing the old crown took very little time and was not a traumatic experience at all. I know people who go to Dr. Copeland and are satisfied, but I would not go back.

Dr Copeland is engaging and very personable which means he always ask you a question when you cant answer because his hands are in your mouth. He knows everyone he sees by their first name and not because he looked it up. That is a sign of caring to me. As a dentist he is talented. When my mom needed a new implant or bridge and she didnt want to pay all that money for that he made her a "temporary" that is still there 6 years later. A pleasant dental experience which seems like an oxymoron since noone really likes going to the dentist. The yelp category says oral surgeon but I think it should be general dentistry

We even move an hour away and I tried a different dentist but ended up coming back because nowhere since has been as good. I truly trust this place to give honest care and not try to make extra or push other procedures on me. When they were gone for a week during spring break I had a tooth pain and went to a diff place since Grace was closed. By the time I saw this other location, my symptoms were better but they had recommended a crown anyways. This seemed odd so I scheduled with Dr Stedola-because I trust her- and she agreed that seemed too aggressive and had put together a much more conservative, practical plan. I appreciated that! Will always go here and have no idea what I'll do when she retires!

Well...after heading in here for a free consultation, I ended up deciding to go for them for myself and checking off a 28 year bucket list item to boot! Its the staff and cool modern technology they use in here that has won me over though! From the fast, cool, thorough X-ray machine and the water tool verses scrapping for teeth cleaning - has impressed me immensely (and was a heck of a lot more comfortable too). The staff though...! Seriously the best dentist experience as far as friendliness and cheerfulness from the front desk all the way to the Dentist. I'm actually looking forward to going back to see how a filling and other dental stuff goes and not just the end results of straight teeth.

I've had more horrifying experiences than pleasant ones at the dentist, which include some pretty suspect procedures involving root canals and my wisdom teeth. So horrible, in fact, that I suspect that the previous dentists I've had probably have their licenses revoked by now, if they're not already in prison for incompetence and cruelty. Dr. Gorman and his staff have always been very understanding and have catered to my mistrust from bad experiences, and he's extremely knowledgable when it comes to recommendations on what you actually need. These guys will genuinely do what's best for you and your health, and that type of focus on the patient is hard to come by. Also a big plus for giving me personalized advice on preventative care. I'm finally on a daily floss/brush/mouthwash regimen that actually works for me and keeps my mouth clean and healthy.
