Well somehow it was was purchased from a grey haired gentleman at ponds that assured her the camera she was buying was a much better even though they carry the Canon brand. But I was told that if I had ANY ISSUES come down and they would explain the camera for me. I wanted to return it immediately but I was told to give it a few days and try it out and see if I liked it. So New Year's Eve I tried the camera, all the pictures came out looking quite strange in fact I myself came out looking like A different nationality. I mean some people like looking as if they slathered self tanner all of them but not me. So I decided that day I was returning that camera. But life doesn't always go as planned things and with a constant string of things going wrong I wasn't able to make it down to Ponds. I also didn't know I could go ahead five day return policy, that's mainly why I told the person above me the camera to go to the big box store who has a 30 day return policy. Even with saying that, it was a Christmas gift and most of those days in between the date it was bought in the day I got it that was five days. I had no chance with this camera. So I finally made it downtown, drove around for 45 minutes to find a parking spot then to pay for parking. Go inside try to basically explain to the grey hair man why I've taken so long to come to store and explain what my issues were like the camera hijacks my internet and the extremely long transfer times while the house has no internet. But he said that what you get for high quality it's not like your phone. I just wanted help. They agreed to take the camera at a reduced price because it was used, I admit I cried.. I had a head ache and he never said he was the one that originally helped sell this camera. But he very quickly offered a camera that was so much more expensive. I'm stuck with this camera because I got a head injury and I was under so much stress because of my life that I decided to put the camera away and deal when I could. I went in for help was treated poorly because I know nothing about cameras, that's right that's why I was there for help. I'm glad I was there to be ignored for every customer that walked in the door. It explains how you knew I wanted removable lens. I did return to trade in this camera as Mike (grey hair man) had offered a $400 trade in, four days later it dropped to $250 because apparently I paid $550 which I did not, the lady that was spent time explaining cars losing value and cameras can't be sold for much used and I paid $550. Ponds wrote an 8% discount for each item, now most people would think cool 8% off but what a strange number or just the right amount for a tax exempt card. Which is not a discount.

It was $15 including tax. If you don't mind paying a bit more for convenience then I would suggest this place. If you have time then there are definitely cheaper places, like Costco.

I've been "helped" by her before and had the same experience, so I doubt it was coincidence that she was having another off day. I came into the store to return a defective item, and there were two women standing there chatting - I was not greeted when I came in and they made no effort to see if I needed any help - I had to approached them and interrupt their conversation (there were no customers in the store). Then one of them decided to acknowledge my presence and proceeded to tell me that the item that was broken was "not their problem, you broke it, not us". I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars at this store and have never returned anything, so when I come in with a product that literally broke the first time I tried to use it, that is not the response to offer. I pretty much said that, she made a phone call, and whoever was on the phone told her to take the return (which I exchanged btw for a more expensive item and paid the difference). This sort of "service" seems to be a bit of a theme in reading the reviews, and as much as I am a loyal Henry's customer, I will really think twice about coming back to Oakville because of this woman's attitude. Perhaps she's family and cannot be reprimanded, but if I owned the store, I'd make sure she knows her attitude is an issue!

On one large canvas order, several pieces arrived with marks and indentations caused by the packaging. To their credit, they made it right and replaced the damaged canvases. Unfortunately, a few orders later the same issue happened again. This time there was resistance, and I was ultimately told it was my responsibility to take the matter up with Canada Post. I didn't pursue that, as there was no damage to the shipping boxes themselves. I lost money as I had to discount my work. When the company updated their website, I ran into a few technical glitches, but customer service was prompt and helpful in resolving them. I wish I could say the same about how the ongoing canvas issues were handled. These canvases are not for me, they are for my clients. Because of repeated packaging problems, I would never feel comfortable having orders shipped directly to their homes. I won't ask my clients to photograph boxes and damaged canvases in order to fix an issue that should never happen in the first place, especially when the company won't stand behind it. I decided to give them one last try in late 2024, ordering again with high hopes. Two of the three canvases arrived perfect and beautiful. The third and largest had the other two packed on top of it. As soon as I opened the box, I had a bad feeling, and sure enough, it had visible indentations. When I contacted the company, I was told: "This will come out in a few days once air gets to it. It will contract on its own." I was advised to leave it out and that they would follow up. The indentations did not come out and never would. Once a canvas is indented, the damage is permanent. I sent photos of the boxes as requested; there was no damage to them. I never received a reply. At that point, I gave up, and that was my last order as I could not sell that canvas as I was supposed to. This made me look unprofessional all because they were not. I know this is a packaging issue on their end. I did this work professionally for years at a canvas production facility in the U.S., and I recognize the process, I mentioned this and they said there was nothing wrong with their way. This experience genuinely saddens me. I would much prefer to support Canadian-made products for my Canadian clients, especially right now. It is not as user friendly and gone is the image quality warning feature as well the 3-D rendering of how the image would look prior to ordering. Those features were essential peace of mind ordering. Thanks to a lead from a Facebook group, I decided to come here. In Rockwood Mall, Pix Graphics & Signs is a small stand that you can easily miss. There was a line, but once we were helped, my baby's photo was taken and we were told to return in ten minutes. Pros include that the mall has a large parking lot so easily accessible by car, they're quick and reasonably priced. For $13.50, I got 4 passport photos.
