My disability makes me difficult to work with on a good day, add the stress of being treated like a liar and fraudster by SSA and I was a nightmare to deal with. I even had two Social Security attorneys quit on me. Eitan won my case when most couldn't have, and he was incredibly kind and patient with me despite my being batsh*t crazy, and hard to deal with. I'd even go so far as to say, he's probably the best Social Security attorney in all of Washington State.

Qualifying for benefits, however, is often an uphill battle. You must convince the Social Security decision makers that you meet Social Securitys unique definition of disability. The Social Security Administration is a huge government bureaucracy with many rules, regulations, and definitions. Its no surprise that most claimants feel confused, frustrated, and alone as they attempt to obtain their benefits. Many disability claims are incorrectly denied at first, but later are approved after a hearing. Thats why it is vitally important to appeal if your claim has been denied. Your best chance of success is at a hearing before an administrative law judge.

After that the Dshs appropriately said it might be time to seek the help of an attorney moving forward. His law office caught my eye from his good reviews, years of experience, and also the fact that his cases are all about helping the disabled prove there cases in court. Our first appointment was in person and to bring with whatever paperwork and facts I could provide at the time. It went well, and I was able to retain his services for representation. Now I think some people need to understand that he and his offices are dealing with many cases at a time so there is no need to pester him or his staff constantly. If you are his client you are on the radar and in good hands. His office will keep you in the loop during the long drawn out disability process. Our next meeting was via phone conference where he let me know that he had drawn up some specific questionnaires to bring to all the pertinent doctors ( ie: physical therapist, primary care provider, mental health doctors ) to help him present my disability case. As my ALJ date neared .... we had a pre-hearing meeting a few weeks prior to my court date. A few days after, the courthouse contacted his office to let them know that my day in court was postponed without a specific reason that was shared to us. Ebonne, his paralegal, informed me that we would have to get a new court date and that it would be about 2 more months in the future to get on the calendar. They contacted me of the new date as soon as it was confirmed with ALJ court scheduling. We then set a pre-hearing conference appointment about 1.5 weeks prior to our new court date where we refreshed his brains on my case and went over all the paperwork he received from my doctors. He made me feel at ease with the stress that continually builds when filing for disability. On our day in court we both arrived early to speak with each other, then we went into court and he presented my case. I gave my testimony when the judge asked me his questions. The judge then got the testimony of the states vocational expert. When I was finished with that part, they had me go ahead and leave the courtroom while they finished up with whatever else goes on. He then met me in the waiting area and let me know that we had won our case and that it would be approximately 2-4 months to start receiving my disability benefits, and if I had any questions going forward that I could call his office anytime. I signed some final paperwork and that was it. This evening while I write this review I can say that there is definitely a relief that comes over you when all goes the way it should, knowing that I will be able to handle my bills and life while I continue my journey towards better health and dealing with my disabling condition. I can't thank David Oliver and his law office enough for helping me through and showing me that there is light at the end of the disability tunnel. -J. Frasier

Following a two-year waiting period after reapplying, I was incredibly fortunate to find John Gustad and his dedicated team. From our very first meeting, John instilled confidence, reassuring me of his commitment to fighting for his clients and his impressive success rate, even with the most challenging cases. True to his word, John took on my case, and in less than a year, we went to court and achieved a triumphant win! I am profoundly grateful to John and his entire team, especially Angela, whose consistent reassurance and positive outlook were invaluable throughout the process. They transformed a long and difficult journey into a successful resolution, and I wholeheartedly recommend their outstanding services.

I contacted Henderson Law Group because I am seeking to find *local* legal help for assistance with closing a family member's estate and creating a will for myself. Lori Zander returned my call promptly, but was rude and belittling when it turned out I was confused whether or not the estate had gone to probate, seemed to find it suspicious that I was seeking a new law firm in Olympia rather than continuing to work with a high-priced attorney in Seattle even after I explained I had relocated to Thurston County, and in general spoke to me with a tone of superiority and disdain. Apologies that I am not as fluent in the law and legal terms as you, Lori, but that's why I'm seeking assistance! I thanked Lori for all of her "help" and was relieved that she seemed to forget that I was also seeking to create a will. No need to discuss any other legal needs with Henderson Law Group after this unpleasant experience! I'll continue seeking local lawyers who don't treat their potential clients with plain condescension. Two stars only because the receptionist I spoke with was friendly and professional, and Lori Zander did return my call promptly.
