About a week after my horrible experience at Serendipity, I called Amy up and asked her to fix my hair. I LOVE my new haircut and I won't stray from Amy and the Shear Shoppe again! She does thorough consultations, listens to what you want, gives you a great head rub when she is washing your hair (a LOT of people don't do this anymore...isn't a haircut supposed to be sort of spa-like and relaxing)? Mainly because I waited almost an hour to get seen and another hour to get my haircut. However, I do like coming here and I did like the work they did. Last time I was here, the owner asked me to change the 3 star review. I considered it and I was going to since I had been enjoying the work so far. Well unfortunately, the owner blocked me from booking with them through Booksy So I can't even update the review anymore. I've always paid them, I've always showed up on time, and I've always been patient and kind. If the owner thinks he can sweep tardiness under the rug and treat his customers like this over a review then fine, I can take my business other places. I suggest anybody else do the same. I didn't ask for anyone in specific because I wasn't certain who still worked here but they got me in with Kaitlyn. First time I got my hair cut here was years ago with Amanda. She did an amazing job. Not sure if she's still cutting hair here but she was very attentive and detail oriented. Another visit I had Breauna (Breanna) not sure of spelling of her name but she also did a great job on cut. She also gave me a bayalage that turned out fantastic! It did take about 4 hours but you can't rush beauty. My hubby gets his hair cut by Chelsea and if I had thought about it, I'd asked for her! But again, I called a little last minute and don't think she was available for the time they scheduled me! I got my hair cut today with Kaitlyn. She was fabulous! She was very friendly and patient with what I needed done. It was a simple cut but she was on it! She did a great job and I'll definitely be back to see her.
