Saw loads of alligators, one Bald Eagle, and countless numbers of shoreline birds. Went into the marshes and among the cypress trees which showed water lines from past flooding. Was amazed at how these boats worked...450 horse power made it easy to glide over the water and land. Our Captains, John & Dan were great. Lots of information on the land, river and animals. We chose this excursion over Epcot and we all agreed it was our favorite thing we've done.

We arrive at 9:30 at the location they gave us, and no one comes for 15 minutes. We call to find out what happened and VICKI says captain John couldn't make it so they called captain Ray. Captain Ray decided to sleep in so we're out of luck. We came into town from 3 hours away to do this, and now our trip is ruined. They had no contingency plan in place. When asked why they didn't call us, she pretended she had my number wrong. Despite me calling this morning and her repeating my number to me. Save your time and money and go somewhere that won't screw you over, unless you have an extremely flexible schedule and no value for your personal time.

However, it's only $10 now that I have my own life jacket (saving me additional cost of $5 to use one of theirs, as required). Well worth the low cost for some soul-enriching, communing with nature. I have never made a reservation. I normally arrive around 10:30, most recently on a Friday. Parked for free on Baptist Camp Rd. Just a bit of a walk from there with my inflated paddleboard, but I don't mind the extra exercise. You can unload your stuff closer, if preferable. There are port-a-potties available. You can count on there being a line in the check-in office. Various recreation supplies are available there for purchase. The process moves reasonably enough. A reservation will guarantee your entrance, however, and possibly aide quicker personal info collection. I always plan to do the Emerald Cut in roughly 3 hours round-trip, allowing myself several stops to enjoy the surroundings. You do run into (quite literally at times) novice paddlers along the way, which can be a bit tricky, yet not a real nuisance for me. In general, there's friendliness along the waterway. Slighty rowdy, party vibes in some spots, but also opportunities for solace and zen in various nooks. Encountering wildlife, fragrant elderberry, and other captivating flora along this stretch is always gratifying. It's a popular recreation destination for good reason.

There are plenty of rides for thrill-seekers, while the entire park is beautifully themed around the aftermath of a tropical storm. Even the walking paths are thoughtfully designed, with little water sprayers keeping the pavement damp so your feet don't feel as though they're marching across the surface of the sun. There are plenty of dining and drinking options throughout the park, and the atmosphere is cheerful, immersive, and unmistakably Disney. The after-hours event is also a tremendous amount of fun, especially with the park illuminated at night. Seeing the slides, palm trees, wave pool, and storm-tossed scenery glowing after sunset gives the place an entirely different personality--almost as if the typhoon itself has returned from beyond the grave. Whether you want to relax, ride some excellent attractions, float along the lazy river, or be spiritually cleansed by a six-foot wave before receiving complimentary Dippin' Dots from a benevolent ghost, Typhoon Lagoon is well worth visiting.

One of many prime examples could consist of: talking negatively about families behind their backs, or with other employees. The management team was also biased towards workers and students. You clearly could see favoritisms, and strong dislikes. One employee may get in trouble for being on their phone, while others get away with it day in and day out. One child may be targeted for a possible delay in development, while other children with severe behavioral troubles are overlooked, not given guidance to get the right help. Frustrations amongst the management team were often taken out on the employees which hindered their abilities to give the children the quality care they deserve. Creative world Avalon park is all about money. They enroll too many children at times, so they don't have to turn somebody away and lose out. Therefore that would lead to full rooms and sometimes being too short staffed, often resulting in the children having to be shuffled to a different room, leaving the kids with no stability. You may drop off in one room but that doesn't mean that's where a child stays all day. There was a child, way to young for a classroom, still on bottles, who had to sit at the table to have the bottle instead of being held, and having that one on one social interaction. This was all due to being over full in the proper room this child belonged in, and being shuffled to a higher aged room. Furthermore, what the parents ask or want is mostly a no go. Parents don't have a say if their child is on a bottle come a certain room, if their child still uses a pacifier or lovey, that all stops in certain rooms regardless of the parents want, or what comforts the child. Management was also lazy at times, not giving their full effort towards the daycares proper functioning. Examples could include: times passing by in the main lobby, where management was either on their phone, or sitting making beaded bracelets. Another example, even on extra short staffed days, it was far and few in between you'd pass by a classroom and see management step up and into a classroom to help it run a bit more smoothly. This daycare holds no value. The employees deserve a non toxic, supportive, stable environment and creative world Avalon park does not offer that. Children also deserve these same things and then some, in order to have the quality care they deserve, which is often hard to be fulfilled due to the treatment and emotions caused by management. The number of people that left creative world, or un-enrolled their children, is plentiful, and that is only the tip of the iceberg. I highly recommend looking further than the friendly smiles that greet you at the door when you walk into creative world Avalon park. There's better out there.

Dedicated in July 1994 through a partnership between the City of Titusville and the U.S. Space Walk of Fame Foundation, the 2.63 acre park honors not only the astronauts who made history but also the thousands of engineers, technicians, and support personnel whose work made the nation's space program possible. Space View Park is located on the Indian River, less than 15 miles directly across from the launch pads at Kennedy Space Center. This gives the park outstanding views of rocket launches while serving as an outdoor museum celebrating the achievements of the U.S. space program. It is the only park where you can walk through the entire history of the manned missions that launched from nearby Kennedy Space Center. The idea for the Space Walk of Fame began in 1988 when a local physician proposed creating a project to preserve the history of America's space program. That vision led to the formation of the Space Walk of Fame Foundation and eventually to the creation of Space View Park as the centerpiece of the memorial. Over the years, the park has grown with the addition of several large monuments. The Mercury Monument, featuring the astronauts' handprints, was dedicated in 1995, followed by the Gemini Monument in 1997. The Space Shuttle Monument was added in 2002 to recognize the workers who supported the shuttle program, and after eight years of planning and construction, the Apollo Monument was completed and dedicated in 2007. In addition to the monuments there is a restroom, boardwalk, picnic pavilions, benches, and a 85 foot pier for fishing. The park was also designed to treat stormwater. Runoff from the surrounding 114 acres of commercial property is captured in a wet detention pond that prevents sediment and floating trash from entering the Indian River Lagoon. It also removes nutrient that would harm the ecosystem of the lagoon. The park has free street parking but no shade so try not to come on a day when it is 105 degrees out like I did. The Gemini monument requires a short walk and it is much easier when it is not so hot out. Space View Park adjoins Veterans Memorial Park on the Indian River waterfront, where you can often find manatees in the colder months. I found this park to be a meaningful place to reflect on the remarkable accomplishments of America's space program while enjoying one of the area's most scenic waterfront settings. The handprints were especially poignant reminders of some of the astronauts no longer with us.

In 1838 the U.S. Army established a fort here named after Captain William Seton Maitland who died in a battle with the Seminoles near Tampa and actually never came to this area. Many people visit this three acre park to launch motorized and non motorized watercraft on to Lake Maitland and to fish. This park has the only municipal boat ramp in the city. Cars can park free and boat trailer parking is free on weekdays and $25 per day on Saturday and Sunday. The parking fee can be paid by scanning a QR code posted at the park while Maitland residents can purchase an annual pass. The park also has a playground, a picnic pavilion which can be rented, and restrooms. I enjoyed a walk around the park as I took in the scenic view of the lake. Fort Maitland Park offers natural beauty and recreational opportunities. Whether you're interested in a peaceful day by the lake, a family picnic, or a place to take the kids to play, Fort Maitland Park is a delightful place to visit.

(This applies to the entirety of Winter Park Chain of Lakes, doesn't matter where you launch from) Normally we paddle out here on these lakes but it's been over 2 months since it's been warm enough on a weekend so we opted to pay the super reasonable fee to add our electric motor to our kayak. We were able to explore a few more lakes from launching at this public boat ramp. There is a bathroom up the hill from the ramp at that little historic park. I haven't used it so I can't speak to its cleanliness. If you look at my photos there is a couple pictures of an uninhabited island, perfect if you are looking for a sandbar-Sunday vibe here in town. Great public boat ramp!

Ruben immediately told me this is not a total and this happens a lot. I trusted his expertise and left the ski at the shop. After the insurance evaluated the damages the magic started. I was totally surprised with the workmanship and making sure the engine was in good shape along with some other water damaged electrical parts. After I picked it up I rode 400 miles in 4 days and no issues... Thank you again for everything you did to put her back in the water.
