The tours are on a first come, first serve basis and leave every hour on the hour. One of the canals was closed for construction when we went but it was truly still so lovely. Our tour guide provided so much history and information! Pro-Tip: SUNSCREEN, handheld fans and water. The boats are not covered and it can get very hot. They do not allow umbrellas for cover. This tour has been around for a while and I can't believe this was my first time taking one. I absolutely had the best time. Looking forward to bringing more visitors to do something so very central Florida! It's grand!

Here is what you need to know: - Time Investment: One Hour (In my opinion, the perfect amount of time) - Investment: $20 for adults, $10 for children. Truly a deal and enjoyable for all ages. - What you will see/learn: If you like history, nature, or just getting a really good tan you will not be disappointed. The true highlight was getting all the tea about the beautiful houses that line the canal and their owners. - Tips: Bring water, sunscreen, and a good hat. If you are hard of hearing, sit near the front. There is a bathroom right before you purchase the tickets and a small covered seated area if you come early. The ride is very gentle and my four year old took a nice little nap as soon as the motor started running. It can get really hot so I recommend booking an early or late afternoon tour if you are sensitive to the sun. We all had lots of fun.

I have been wanting to go on the Barbara Lee for YEARS and we finally did it! I decided I wanted to…read morecelebrate my birthday during their Italian Night with a wine pairing. Our party ended up being 20 of us and we were able to share a unique link for purchasing tickets so our party was all linked together as one party. When we first boarded, there really wasn't any direction as to what to do or what we could do so we just sat down at our table and waited for someone. We weren't sure if we could or should go to the bar to order drinks or if we could walk around before dinner. It took a while (10+ minutes) for anyone to approach our table.) Once someone approached our table we ordered drinks and then walked around the boat. We went to the top deck to take some photos and watch the sunset before dinner started. Once dinner started we were able to go the buffet as munch as we wished. Since it was Italian night they had all Italian dishes, none of the dishes really stood out but nothing was bad. It was good, but not like wow! While eating they started pouring our wine samples. We got two red and two white samples and a sommelier talked us through each sample. After the first two samples they gave us a break to walk around, go to the bathroom, etc. I would have preferred a shorter break in the middle of dinner and more time in the beginning so that we could spend more time on the deck while the sun set. Tickets for this event were $65 and in my opinion it was worth it. We had a great time and it was something I could check of my bucket list!

My newly created memory is so dear to me now. Just starting from the entry of the shop to pick up tickets. The staff was so bubbly with smiles and welcoming energy to assist you once you came in. Then after receiving our tickets we got to walk around a bit to enjoy the breeze. Now 15 minutes before our sail time they started guiding everyone to their designated tables. Once we were seated we were informed of all our important safety information while aboard and locations of the restrooms. Then our server came over to take our drinks. Our table was filled with charcuterie boards with fruit and cheese with sweet tea, watermelon tea, and water available within arms reach. We had a live performance throughout the interior time. They even sung requested songs. I enjoyed watching all of the other married couples get up and dance. My husband even got me to get a dance floor for one of the songs. Lol I was so nervous but I really enjoyed it. Once the food started rolling in we started with a house salad and bread. Then we got up and walked around the ship. We took photos and watched the sunset. It was so peaceful with amazing songs playing softly in the background. Once they announced dinner was being served we headed down to our table. Now about my Savory Herb Roasted Half Chicken with a White Wine Supreme Chicken Sauce.I chef's kiss for sure. I picked mashed potatoes and corn for my sides. Anyone who knows me know I love me some corn. Lol the chicken was so juicy all the way through. Flavor was perfect from the white meat to the dark meat parts. I was so stuffed you could probably roll me off the ship afterwards. Lol I enjoyed being able to try two virgin mocktails with a carrot cake that surprised me. The dessert was so tasty and fluffy. I could barely finish it. if ypu have not given this experience a try I highly recommend it. Thank you to the captain and staff on board you guys did amazing!!

We booked through TripAdvisor the same day without any difficulty and joined a group of six other people to make up four couples. The tour currently departs from a location behind a private house with a small parking lot available for guests, although we were told they will be moving to a new location at the beginning of August. We met our captain, Jesse, and first mate, Evan, before boarding. Our departure was delayed by a few minutes because the first mate arrived late, and for a short time it looked like the trip might even be canceled. Fortunately, everything worked out, and we were soon on our way. We hadn't been on the water very long before we spotted our first dolphins, and from that point on the trip just kept getting better. Jesse and Evan did an excellent job explaining the history of the area, pointing out the local wildlife, oyster beds, and many of the sights along the river. We traveled south and were fortunate enough to see several dolphins and even a few manatees during the tour. The boat has seating all along both sides with a large open area in the middle, so it was easy to move around whenever dolphins or other wildlife appeared. During the trip, one of the passengers began suffering from heat exhaustion, and I was impressed with how calmly and professionally Jesse handled the situation while making sure everyone remained safe. Overall, this was a very relaxing and enjoyable tour. The river wasn't crowded, the scenery was beautiful, and there was an excellent chance to see several different types of wildlife. If you're looking for a peaceful boat ride with knowledgeable guides and a great opportunity to see dolphins, manatees, and other wildlife in their natural habitat, I would definitely recommend this tour. We were glad we made the drive just to experience it. Enjoy!

We get there early to be ready, and about 45 minutes to the confirmed time, and called the assigned captain to make sure we were where we needed to be....no answer. Okay, we are about 25 minutes out from leaving, called again no answer... no answer. This repeats two times more, and getting a bit worried about things going sideways, so I called iOutdoor Adventures. Got someone who identified herself "as the manager of iOutdoor adventures, who seemed very put out by the call, but said she would get the captain to call me. He does, and right after I identify myself, he starts saying I am mistaken, we are not booked for Sunday 8/2/26, he has us down for Monday 8/3/26. I tell him I am looking at the conformation, and it says Sunday 8/2/26. Now he starts blaming iOutdoor Adventures, that it's all a bunch of 3rd party folks, he just contracts with them, and THEY mucked it up. So, I call the lady back I spoke to earlier, she says no, he is an employee, she confirms my reservation...long story shorter, after calls back and forth between them, with each blaming the other, she finally just says, I can't get you a captain, the assigned captain "got his scheduling wrong", as if that settled a HUGE waste of time and money. Which she obviously did not care about, acted like I was the one being annoying for being upset about their FUBAR, and then sighs and said "there is nothing she can do, she can refund my money, and offer me $50 bucks if I choose to rebook. Yeah, that's going to happen...ever. Like $50 off another of their screw-ups was even worth the gas and time I wasted on them. They were the most unprofessional, uncaring, not give a crap about how their unprofessional behavior ruined this, refused to take responsibility for anything, and were the rudest people I have dealt with in a long while. So, all we could do was pack up and make the long drive home It's your money and time, so if you want to waste it on them that's on you. You have been warned. After I read the reviews, apparently, I am not the only one this has happened to either. And because they acted like it was no big deal that they wasted my time, money and effort, because of their own BS, and then acted like no big deal pal, you'll get over it, no skin off our noses, I am going to make sure to hit every review I can so that other folks that like to fish are not drawn in by, in my opinion, complete uncaring fraudsters.
