Another great haircut, this time from Sara. Danielle had her baby :)…read more I just wanted a trim, following the lines of the fabulous cut from Danielle, but alas the ends were in worse shape than I thought, and i had to get a bit more taken off. Sara misted my hair and snipped away. It looks much better. She also shaped the hair around my face. Great cut for a great price, and FAST! I like the simple, no-frills vibe. The TVs are silent, with closed captions. Excellent.

I went to get a hair cut here today, the building is tucked away in the back which was kind of hard…read moreto find. It was very nice inside and a modern feel to it. Unfortunately the building is really the only thing going for this place. I was given a hair cut from a girl named Ridah, I very politely asked her to give me a number 2 fade. She seemed like she knew what she was doing and knew that the sides were to be cut shorter than the top on my head. I told her to leave it long and that we could always cut it shorter to a length that I would prefer. Instead of doing what we agreed upon, Ridah decided that shaving my head would be the best idea. So instead of getting a number 2 fade I left with a number 1 buzz cut. She immediately started buzzing all my hair off right after i told her to leave it long so that we could cut it down gradually. I was so confused because she knew that the hair on the top of my head was suppose to be longer and it ended up being the same length as the sides. My recommendation is to never go here or for this barber to return to hair dressing school. Needless to say, I am very unhappy and I should have not paid for this hair cut. If i wanted a buzz cut I would have done it myself. It is lalso not called the Tailor Male Barber Shop anymore, it is named the Good Ground Barber Shop. That should be changed on here as well.

This is a review of the YAPHANK location near Walmart…read more First impression: very nice decor, but it sadly ends at that. Let me say, to have the boldness to charge a WHOPPING $35 for a regular haircut in today's market and during these difficult times, is a bit of a risk. However, if the service is actually comprehensive and you feel awesome afterwards, I could MAYBE see that it could be "worth" the extra money you are paying as opposed to other shops. The younger gentleman that cut my hair was friendly enough, but I could tell that the experience level was definitely on the lower end. The haircut itself was just "OK", but some major takeaways are that the barber didn't wet down the hair before cutting with scissors (that's a first for me), he did not offer to show the back of my head with a mirror, no offer to trim eyebrows, no hot shave of back of neck with fresh razor, kept spinning my seat around over and over because he was too lazy to walk around, and no offer for gel or hairspray. These are pretty much industry standards for any decent barbershop. If barbershops that are at least $13 less than this place offer all of these services AND provide a better haircut, there is absolutely zero reason to ever come back here IMO. Very disappointed. Missed opportunity for this location that has residential townhouses within walking distance. So annoyed. Overall, thumbs way down. A generous 1 star.
