I needed a haircut. (I am still very annoyed with Javier, so will never return to his salon in the city.) I got a trim in Colorado, but wanted more of a change. TBH, I was slightly shocked by haircut prices around here. I called Fresh Cuts, and was quoted $25! I walked in, no appointment, and Daniella, a lovely young woman, listened patiently as I explained what I wanted, and showed her a couple of pictures. She gave me a fabulous cut! She's also very pleasant. They don't shampoo your hair, or do blowouts. Both of these work for me, as I prefer to use my own products and air-dry my hair. If you want a shampoo and blow-dry, this is not the place for you. It is a barber shop, not a salon. Very no-frills. But I got a great haircut at a great price, so I'm happy. Have been coming here for years. New owners as of Dec 2013. Simon and Naim are great guys that give awesome haircuts. There are only three chairs, so the wait sometimes can be up to 35/40 mins, but I've just come to expect it. They are now open on Sundays as well! read more

Went for an interview, owner asked if I wanted to work for an interview. I said "ok". I went to my car to get my things and setup at a chair station. The day went well I did handfull haircuts from open to closing. In that span I saw the same towel being used to wipe down each client after a "shave" or to "dry", as well as not once using the the clipper cleanning spray to sanitize thier clippers once before each client. The owner told me to call him back later during the week, I left my number and info just in case he wanted to call me(he left before I did that day). I called a few days later to find that the owner was pissed that I called him and barked that he would call me when he needed me then hung up, and never got paid either. Being broke with not the best luck, I dont have time like that to waste just listing my experience. My mistake for going there, don't let it be yours, enjoy yor day & watch your barber. read more
