Dr. Henderson did my braces in 1996-1998. I had them for the exact amount of time they originally…read moreestimated- 18 months. I was always greeted with professional staff and Dr. Henderson was amazing. The staff were friendly and as a kid I enjoyed picking all the different color bands for each adjustment. After my teeth were made perfect, I had a permanent retainer put on my bottom teeth to keep them in place. For the top teeth- they made me a clear retainer like what is marketed now for braces. I always forgot to put it in and my teeth started shifting back. I went to Dr. Henderson in 2004 or so and asked if they would do the same type of permanent retainer on the top as they did the bottom. They did and charged what I thought was a very reasonable amount. I have never had any issues with that retainer to this day. Well, my bottom retainer snapped in 2018- 20 years later! I couldn't go back to them originally because I no longer reside in Indiana, so my dentist attempted to fix it. He said he could guarantee it would stay because he didn't have all the right materials and tools. It lasted about a month or two and eventually broke again. I happen to be traveling to Indiana and made an appointment! They got me in and fixed me up in about 15 minutes and I paid a minimal amount. It's been two years and no issues! Just wanted to let everyone know that based off of my experience I had with Dr. Henderson in the late 90's and more recently and he and his staff are great and my smile is just as perfect today as it was then. The office is always super friendly and willing to help with anything they can. They take time out to learn your name and little details about you ( which even months later they will recall). Mcabe himself is one of the most funniest and considerate doctors. For example, on Wednesday I got a tooth pulled at my dentist. I went to mcabe yesterday and mcabe asked me how it went. When I told him that even with the numbing, laughing gas, and I took Tylenol before; I still could feel everything since I have fibromyalgia extremely bad along with a head injury. When I told Mcabe he listened to me all out and apologized for the discomfort. He then got my braces back on but told the assistant to put gentle wires in for me. My teeth were SUPER messed up and it was a process even before I got the braces on. I was thankful that I did NOT have to get any of my adult teeth pulled after another orthodontist had suggest that route. I am so thankful we found Dr. Sadler. Dr. Sadler has been there for me every step of the way. I am happy to say these past few years I now just wear my retainer as needed. I am thankful my parents took me to Dr. Sadler for braces. I can't imagine what my teeth would look like today without them. Having braces at times wasn't fun. Such as breaking brackets and poking wires. However the staff at Dr. Sadler's office always got me in quickly to fix any problems. I loved that I always had the options to change up my band colors as well. Braces isn't an overnight magic solution. It's a process but absolutely so worth it! As an adult I am grateful I went through the braces process as a kid/teenager. Such a fun place to receive treatment. They really make getting braces special. We aren't done treatment yet, but so far we've noticed a nice difference in my son's smile. Dr. Sadler always checks in after the techs complete work to let us know if we are on track or what to expect. He's super friendly as well and not intimidating at all.
