The dentist stated that my bite would correct itself and she wasn't worried about it. Well, that's true that my bite corrected itself when my trays were out but that then caused my teeth to shift from the tray alignment. That situation caused my trays to start splitting and I was told that since I had been released from treatment the trays would now cost $200+. I don't want replacement trays anyway because my teeth are not properly aligned and I'm certainly not going to give them a THIRD try on another set of trays that would probably cost another several thousand $$. SO frustrating and HUGE waste of $$ and now I have to find another orthodontist who hopefully cares about patient satisfaction. UGH!

Not sure if I should leave a review or not, but why not…read more. I was seen as a new patient. (a little background, as a child I had orthodontic care so that was not the reason for this visit.) I just needed the cement on my permanent retainer repaired. The office staff was very friendly. The tech that brought me back to take my history and pics was also very friendly and made small talk with me. Dr. Larson simply plucked the half piece of cement/glue that was left off. He was very upfront and said at my age my teeth have already done all their shifting so redoing my retainer wouldn't really be a need. He of course did suggest an invisible retainer for my top and bottom teeth to correct the little bit of shift that had happened since having my braces off as a kid since I didn't wear my retainer as I should have. He said thats his job & he likes perfect teeth so of course he would suggest it. So I have no need to return to the office, but if you're looking for an orthodontist, Dr. Larson is very friendly & professional

Was told by the office manager, "That's your fault. It's not our job to update your phone number." In years and years of being a patient we have not missed a scheduled appointment or been late on a payment. Our phone number hasn't changed. I'm not sure if the ownership has changed, or if there is a new office manager. Either way we are getting a new family dentist.

I have an illnesses which causes me to vomit frequently, sometimes with no warning. I had an episode while in the Martin Dentistry office some time ago. It's not as though they didn't know or hadn't seen it. However, after being late to an appointment which was rescheduled I was ridiculed. Call me silly but I didn't want to uncontrollably vomit all over the dentist or hygienist. Frankly, it's a health risk. I could've easily choked on my vomit during treatment. You can be the best dentist but with an unprofessional, patient facing staff you will eventually lose business. Side note, somehow the office suppressed my Google review. Now I consider them unreliable.

HOWEVER, I will say that this is the first time from start to finish. I changed dentist due to my work and location so this past winter I was looking for a new dentist. I asked a co worker of mine and she recommended this dentist. I did my own research and decided to give it a whirl. The front office staff was great. And my hygienist was knowledgable, talked me through everything and even made a note in my chart about preferences much appreciated. Additionally, they do provide fluoride for their adult patients. This is crucial and I've been getting this ever since I've gone to the dentist. Meeting the dentist was great, she was personable and shared her advice with me about my concerns. She did not force me into any decisions and said it was my choice but she would air on the side of conservative treatment. Overall, it was a great experience and honestly I am not dreading my next appointment.

He said he knows the perfect dentist who is his personal dentist, Dr Ward! He shared how wonderful Dr. Ward is! I called his office asking for a new patient appointment and I couldn't believe how soon I was scheduled an appointment! I had 2 known issues to be addressed and Dr. Ward found one more important issue. His practice is all inclusive with everything needed for routine dentistry and orthodontia, including a lab where he made me a new crown!! Yep, you read that correctly! The most amazing thing for me was that he provided so many interventions in 2 visits where my previous dentist would have provided all the same things in 4-5 visits, if not more! I also do not have all the words I need to express my gratitude for every person I had any type of contact with! Everyone was so personable and treated me with great respect! I wish I had had an orthodontist like this when I was a kid!! For kids, the waiting room is a game and video fun zone, with two movie areas, five video game stations, a fun-house mirror, and iPods to play with in the treatment chairs. For parents, there are comfy seats, a cafe area with chairs/tables, free WiFi, charging stations, a full coffee/tea station, more TV's set to grown up stations, and every publication you could want to read. Plus every once in a while, they bring out a tray of fabulous fresh baked COOKIES!! They have thought of everything. This thoughtful first impression carries through when you meet the docs and staff. They are warm and friendly, and very easy to talk to. The staff and docs give you straight-talk, show you how things are going at each step, with easy & clear instructions, and all the equipment, cute cases, and accessories. My 10-yr-old daughter was jazzed about the teal sparkle retainer she got to choose from a wide array of colors. She wore it religiously! And didn't lose it!!! We still have a ways to go in the process but so far, after about a year, it's been pain-free, and we are making progress. I especially love the tag-team approach of these three docs. You see any or all of them on each visit, so it's always easy to get an appointment. They confer with each other for the best approach. I really feel my daughter is in excellent hands and SBH makes going to the orthodontist as easy and pleasurable as one can make such an experience. She was just a number to them, and they were a bit rude and off putting whenever we started voicing our concerns. We have since left this practice and are at a new practice where she has to wear a new set of braces for another two years due to having to move her teeth slowly. It's funny how they just had her on a timeline for when payments were done she would be done the braces, and unfortunately, every kid is not the same. Very disappointed because they refused to refund us at all, and weren't really willing to discuss our concerns.

I started with them when the practice was known as Smith-Brauer, and when Dr Brauer took over the practice and I got to know him I was really happy to continue coming. What's so epic? They have great reminders, for starters, and are very flexible in scheduling. When you walk into their office for the first time, a very clean and modern waiting area await you past a foyer with waterfall. You're immediately calmed and the place just feels incredibly clean. The rooms are all private and spacious with televisions and windows that let in natural light...No dungeon feel here folks. Over ten years, I've been lucky to meet several of the dental hygienists and staff and there really aren't any bad apples. You feel almost like family here. I never felt rushed through but instead always felt like they were incredibly thorough. When I came to the practice I had many older amalgam fillings, and over a couple years we replaced them all with color matched fillings and crowns which look great and improved my confidence and smile. A friend mentioned the other day that they go to a dentist office where the dentist is different each visit. I can't imagine doing that when I've been so happy getting to know the staff and Doctor Brauer. Easy assess off 465 means you can get here from around the city. Check them out, especially those of you who are nervous when you visit the dentist! You'll be in good hands.

I'm going to tell you all my personal info and say that I've had a cavity filled and a crown placed and both procedures went without a hitch - you gotta love a dentist who actually respects the fact that people can be scared of them.
