While I was waiting to pay, the pro shop was getting lots of calls for tee times and they had to turn them down due being all booked up- makes sense. All of the employees I came in contact with were very nice and upbeat, even the guy that I told I was looking at his nuts when I was looking at the snacks they had for sale. Snacks are limited, chips, nuts, cookies and pre-made sandwiches but they have the Von Ebert Brewery on site where you can get food too. They are beer and claws in the pro shop to keep you loose during 18. IMO, the course was very well maintained. It was obviously pretty wet and muddy but it's March in Portland so to be expected wherever you go. The greens are well taken care of as well as the carts. I paid 46 for 18 with a cart. I really enjoy Glendoveer and will look forward to playing here soon!!

No pets allowed to keep the wildlife safe. They have a driving range, and even a course for disc golf too. They have quite a lot of tournaments here for everything- even HS cross country meets. The fitness trail is 2 miles and relatively well maintained; there are Porta-potties around which can be a life saver. Free to use the fitness trail. I've seen people be here very early in the am- open sunrise to sunset. There is also the restaurant Von Ebert on site- We haven't been in a few years but they have happy hour and daily specials. Pretty large parking lot and street parking too.

There are no sand traps and no water features. I didn't see a drink cart while I was out, but maybe that's only available during certain days or certain hours... you can grab a fresh drink in the clubhouse before or after you play, though. The bathrooms are slightly cleaner than the average public course. It's easy to make a reservation online and the prices are very fair for the market and overall experience. The only drawbacks for me are the background noise from the adjacent streets and the lack of overall aesthetics in terms of visual presentation. If you're looking for a laid back gold experience that won't break the bank or take too much of your day, this is your place. Don't expect anything fancy; expect to spend time outside and take a few mulligans. Golf as it was meant to be played

You can come in on a Friday, and be told last large bucket sold at 815, and be done by 9pm. The very next day it is closed at 8 with no buckets sold. It is all over the place, and the time can swing by as much as an hour. I have started calling ahead to ask what time they sell their last large bucket. Even that isn't reliable, as I will come in and be told they are closing, and I have to tell the staff I had just called, and that was what I was told. When this occurs, the staff will often make you feel like the bad guy. I assume the people who come out to the range, come for certain reasons beyond just working on their game. Maybe it's therapeutic, or mental health reasons. I submit this review as this issue continues to exist. Keep to your Google hours, or post your time of selling certain sizes of buckets.

We just called from Oregon City and they were able to fit us on within the hour. It is a funky course. Definitely some hills to climb and uniquely placed tee boxes. You may feel like a mountain goat after your round. Friendly and approachable. The owner is a former Progress Downs Pro from Beaverton. I didn't know him, but recognized the name. He was busy, shop and amenities were closed for COVID. They did offer beers and snacks though, for purchase. There's one spot, with a bit of a blind shot and you gotta ring a bell to let the group behind you - "okay to tee off" Look up and you may see some skydivers descending.

It's a private couple. The facility is a friendly local type. It's the first independent and local geek course I've ever been. This place is awesome!!! The prices are low. The course is beautiful. The rules seem to be "be cool" and you're good. There is a nice place to eat and drink beers. Carts are older, but appear to be in fine shape. What a chill place. I bet this group gets wild. Not the corporate type. I like that.

Disappointing first experience…read more I normally never leave reviews, especially since I'm only 24, but I felt like I had to share this. This was my first time ever golfing, and unfortunately the experience was ruined by an older employee who repeatedly came up to me and my two cousins with an attitude, telling us to "hurry up" because people were behind us. We were already trying to move quickly--at times literally jogging to our balls and getting ready for our next shots. The group behind us was actually very nice and didn't seem bothered by our pace. There were also people ahead of us, so there were times we physically couldn't move any faster. At one point, the employee walked up to us and said, "Yeah, you guys need to hurry up." I explained that it was my first time golfing, but he continued to speak to us rudely. He also asked if I had clubs, and when I explained that I was borrowing my cousin's because I didn't realize I needed to rent my own, he responded with the same attitude instead of simply explaining the policy. We were respectful and apologized, but he continued watching us and making us feel like we were a problem. We eventually stopped playing the hole because it felt like we were about to be kicked out. I understand keeping pace is important on a golf course, but there's a respectful way to communicate that, especially to someone playing for the first time. Unfortunately, what should have been a fun first golfing experience ended up being really uncomfortable because of one employee's attitude. I hope management addresses this because nobody should leave their first experience feeling unwelcome.

My favorite part of the course is actually trying to find shanked balls in the blackberry bushes that serve as the boundaries for the course. Normally, it's a win if I can walk away with more balls than I started. The views are quite wonderful, especially on the 20 hole course. And if you're a passport holder, this is an essential experience that is much cheaper than the counterpart over on the course... this is your choice if you're not stress about performance and you're on the quest for legit fun.

It certainly fits the bill as far as "charming" goes - and easily fits the budget on price. The course is fun and challenging and scenic and quiet and - in spite of a few patchy or swampy spots - maintained well enough for those of us with practical game improvement goals. The staff is exceptionally welcoming. I find myself walking off the course each time I play it with a real sense of gratitude toward the people that run it and feeling vary lucky that I live close enough to regularly visit.
