Great U shaped big table seating up to 25 people seating
on stools in the middle of the " halles " ( meaning : covered market ).
Basically, one eats hearts, livers, kidneys, " private parts " of animals sauteed in wine or parsley / vinegar sauces freshly gotten by the next door butchers for roughly 10 to 12 Euros !
All is delicious ! We decided to order that day a " cod declination " for 12 Euros consisting of cream of cod spread, grilled mushroom stuffed with cod , baked potato also stuffed with cream cheese cod, and a cod gratin, as well as a toast of green olives tapenade ( see photo ).
