While they were here I inquired about having them remove an old insert in our Living Room Fireplace. No problem for these two guys! They quickly and cleanly removed the heavy monster insert. Zach then checked out the stonework, chimney liner, and damper of the restored Fireplace and said that all was good. He only found a minor gap that can easily be filled with high temperature mortar. They said the estimate called for a certain amount of pavement and that is what they used. If they'd come when they were supposed to, I would've been home and able to approve a change. Wouldn't it be better to talk to the homeowner and inform them That more pavement is needed rather than do it halfway?? We tried to resolve it with them.
