Since there was a…read moregame going on involving Germany the place was horribly crowded since they had several screens showing it. Nevertheless our beers came in time since the were additional waiters around. Since I'm not much into soccer I hadn't as much a hell of a time as my friends. I think Germany won. However, a couple days later we visited the Degendorff again which allowed me a more concentrated look around. Here's a brief description of the site: The front room looks like a classic bar room - lots of dark wood, dimmed lights and a long cornered bar surrounded by 5 tables for 4 to 10 persons. There's two other rooms from which one is a kind of lounge on viewing the small garden at the front side. The other room is sort of a playroom which contains a darts machine, foosball table, a tiny dancefloor and is outlined by a half-height shelf for your drinks and several bar stools. Between the three rooms there is a small hallway with a small table, shelfs and stools for a more intimate conversation. As mentioned, there is a small garden outside offering about 50 seats and a big screen for...screening purposes like soccer. The tap has several beers from Germany and Czechia and there are also quite a few cocktails on the menu which are done in a tasty manner. If you have to satisfy your hunger after a few drinks, the Degendorff offers a simple but well-working menu: different kinds of sausages, chili, some sort of hefty pizza, that kind of stuff you're craving after spending a time drinking. The prices are definitly ok from what I experienced going out in Berlin. I recommend this place to everyone who likes a good drink in a relaxed atmosphere

They don't pay attention to the customers at all. They prefer to eat cake and do their hair. It's a chame the owner didn't pay more attention to the people he hired. I hope it will change soon! I miss coming to this place.

I've already been there twice and happened to order the same thing both the times since I liked it so much. I had the vegetarian Flammkuchen and cappuccino. Situated at the crossroads of Kyffhäuserstrasse and Barbarossastrasse, (not so far from Eisenacherstrasse U-Bahn) this café is a firm favourite amongst locals. I once spent an entire Sunday here with friends, starting with early brunch... then afternoon tea, followed by dinner and drinks whilst playing Skat the entire time! Primarily noted for its extensive breakfast menu which includes the likes of the: Phoenix Schlemmer, New York Bagel, English and Kapstadt breakfasts to mention but a few (See attached photos)... this place also offers a good range of daily specials to supplement its standard menu, which features such items as spätzle , maltaschen, toasted sandwiches, soups, salads, and schnitzel. The food is generally good. Though I have to admit, once about a year ago (sure call me food nerd!), my Käsespätzle was a wee bit greasy which was a surprise considering it's one of my comfort food orders at this place. Other than that I can honestly say I've always had good food for a reasonable price, not to mention the portions are quite generous too. Service is fast and friendly. This place is also blessed with rays of sunshine après midi, so it's great to sit outside and have an afternoon drink... and perhaps a slice of cake, I forgot to mention that I'm also a complete sucker for the Meringue Cheesecake.

Would definitely return to try other waffles creations.

It was warm enough to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful, green location right on Stuttgarter Platz. The staff is friendly and attentive and we did not have to wait much. If I go back, I will order maybe 4 dishes instead of just 3 in order to fill me up.
