It is also a very small branch, with only one cashier person to available to serve customers. At least there is an ATM inside the branch. The service itself is satisfactory, so I can't complain but I think the environment itself could be improved. At least it is convenient for me to use (once you know where the branch is located!).

They have these little comment books nearby so you can write about your service that you received. I feel that is a much personalised service that they offer to customers. There is parking nearby so that is not too bad. But you have to watch out for the parking attendants that are lurking about. They offer all the services that the larger branches offer, which is great when the branch is near your home.

When this included paying bills, opening a new online account and changing my account details, I was amazed! I went in there to change an address having moved back home from University, a task which took a matter of minutes last time I had to change it. This time I was stared at blankly by staff who didn't seem to know how to do it. I was asked join a queue which didn't seem to move and watched in amazement as every small problem meant three members of staff huddling around each other. After 20 minutes I asked how much longer it would take. I was told "just a moment" but with time running out before I had to get back to work, I was forced to leave without having changed my address. Now my bank details are in the hands of goodness knows who because of poor service and a lack of concern. If you are a Barclay's customer, avoid this branch, go to another local branch.

Natwest turned me away, as did RBS but thankfully Metro helped me out and sorted it all out for me If I was looking at opening an account/ joining a bank/changing banks, I would definitely consider going with Metro
