It takes a lot for me to get riled and want to complain yet Barclay's in Bexleyheath managed to do it. I went in there to change an address having moved back home from University, a task which took a matter of minutes last time I had to change it. This time I was stared at blankly by staff who didn't seem to know how to do it.
I was asked join a queue which didn't seem to move and watched in amazement as every small problem meant three members of staff huddling around each other. After 20 minutes I asked how much longer it would take. I was told "just a moment" but with time running out before I had to get back to work, I was forced to leave without having changed my address.
Now my bank details are in the hands of goodness knows who because of poor service and a lack of concern. If you are a Barclay's customer, avoid this branch, go to another local branch. read more
