Extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience - I would unfortunately never recommend booking with Haley. I really dont like to write negative reviews, this is actually my only negative yelp review - but sometimes an experience is so unpleasant or costly that I want to save other people from the same experience - and this was unfortunately one of those moments. What started as excitement to work with a talented artist turned into an incredibly frustrating and disrespectful service experience. If you're considering booking with her, please read this first. Haley was incredibly responsive when I first reached out on Instagram, replying within 24 hours to the initial pre-booking questions I had but the moment I paid for my first appointment, the communication stopped completely. I didn't get a single response for *over a month* leading up to my follow-up appointment - despite several kind follow up messages - which is required to complete her two-part brow process. Then, on the day of my scheduled appointment, after driving 3 hours to attend the appointment, she canceled just a few hours before. She first said that her dog had to go to the vet, but then later confessed that she wanted to "be a mom today" and attend her daughter's Halloween school event, even though she had known for weeks I was leaving the country in two days and day or the next was my last available time before leaving the country. When I politely asked if there was any way she could fit me in later that day or the next, she accused me of being "difficult to schedule with" - it was total gaslighting! I'm sure she'll reply here with a polished explanation to to rework the story, but as a paying client who invested over $1,400 and was left with an unfinished service, this experience was absolutely unacceptable. Haley may be talented, but she lacks professionalism, accountability, and basic respect for her clients' time. It was funny because when I was researching working with Haley, the negative reviews on her yelp all had to do with how inconsiderate the scheduling process was - I wish I had listened to those people and I hope this saves someone else from making the same mistake. Ugh I'm so happy I pulled the trigger and finally got an appointment with Hayley. I have wanted to get my eyebrows microbladed for a few years but was horrified at the idea of someone tattooing something on my face permanently. As the mother of an almost toddler, i am a nap-time warrior & hated having to spend time drawing my brows on from scratch, when i had so many other things to do. i no longer have to do that! Booked Haley to have my brows done before my wedding went multiple times to ensure my brows were beautiful for my wedding day traveling from out of state, scheduled, and paid deposit to ensure that I had my appointment. You have to allow time to heal so I booked my last appointment in a timely fashion for my wedding and they purely canceled the appointment on me wouldn't work with my schedule as I was traveling from out of town for the appointment and we're quite rude about cancelling it. Needless to say wasted a ton of money because I couldn't get my touch up as they recommend and I just had to go without having them done. Haley came very highly recommended and although more expensive than others who were recommended, I went with her due to the glowing reviews. I like her and the work she did on my brows. The struggle is getting touch-up appointments. As a new client, I don't know when I will need a touch-up until I see the need. In early April I decided to book for late May. I could not get an appointment until late July. I went on the waitlist and would click the link the moment I was notified of an opening and it would already be taken. I have a new job and can't keep the late July appointment. She will not refund my deposit of $200 for the service not rendered and the appointment which I am sure has already been filled from the wait list. This just seems like a poor way to do business. Just to give a little background : not only do I have light color brows, but they are also very sparse. I over plucked in the 90s. I had permanent make up done maybe 18 years ago but those were solid, no such thing as ombré or hair like strokes. My brows never really grew back. (See top picture) I had been looking into having my brows micro bladed for the better part of a year. I did research and read a ton of reviews. I looked on IG, Facebook, yelp, I googled, but none of the places just clicked for me. I had been following Haley on social media for a while, when she announced she was going to start offering micro blading. Right away I was like "me, pick me !!!" because have you seen her ? She does fantastic work ! Now let me tell you about my experience - Her studio is clean and very feminine. She is absolutely adorable and very professional. She asked what I was looking for as far as shape and color, she also offered her recommendations. My brows were measured right down to perfection. She was constantly checking with me as far as he shape to make sure I was happy with it all before she began. The process itself was not painful, it was a little odd because it sounds and feels like someone scraping Velcro with a fingernail. She was personable, witty, kept me at ease through the whole thing. She suggested we go a little light on the initial procedure and once it was healed and I went back for my follow up, then we could perfect it, and by then we'd know how my skin retained the ink and healing and all of that. I LOVED them. You could absolutely see the hair like strokes which made me super excited. (See middle picture) Now about 5 weeks later I went back for my follow up. By then we could see how well they healed and what we needed to fix. We decided to make them a little thicker, a little darker and she also adjusted the shape, giving me a more pronounced arch. Love them even more. (See bottom picture) I have to say that after so many years of seeing myself with essentially no brows when I don't wear make up, it's crazy to see them now. All I really have to do is maybe throw on a little brow gel, maybe a little brow powder, but it's truly not necessary. I could not be happier. My brows looked amazing for exactly one day. Then the healing process started, which was extra brutal for me. Two full weeks of large chunks, sometimes the entire length of my eyebrow, of dead skin just hanging out. I just kept telling myself that it would all finally be worth it once the healing process was done...except it wasn't. Literally no pigment remained after those two weeks. I emailed Kellie, who is the one who did my brows, and she was basically like sometimes it be like that, and at first said I should just come in for my touch up appointment and it'll be fine. I told her I wasn't interested in paying another several hundred dollars to go through the same process again only to come out with absolutely nothing to show for it, and that I wouldn't have gone through with it if I was told at any point that the pigment may actually just not take at all. She cancelled my follow up appointment, never apologized, and never offered any kind of refund. My brows now look exactly the same (if not more sparse) than they did when I got them done 4 months ago. read more
