I would think of a question late in the evening, send an email, and would have a response shortly after. We also had a situation where the seller was willing to provide us with additional closing credit if we moved the closing date, which we couldn't accommodate because the lease where we were renting was ending and someone else was moving in. She called our landlord and somehow convinced him to let us stay longer and delay the other person moving in (magic?). Rachael puts a lot of effort into finding homes you will like based on the descriptions you give her. She was so spot on with us that we bought the first home we saw with her! During the walkthrough she was very honest about what work would need to be done on the house and it was completely in-line with what the inspection said. It looked promising and I was under a huge time crunch to find something. Problems became apparent after I moved in. Place has OUTDATED ELECTRIC (old loose outlets that won't hold plugs & heat up. Ancient breaker box) and a huge BLACK MOLD problem. No bathroom lights/Shower wasn't functional until a week after moving in and only because I found someone to fix it. Is some of this on the landlord? Most definitely, but just know that once you sign the lease & they get their fee, you are on your own. They do not care if they find you an unsafe place.
