Another Halyeah for halal. The guys running this truck were super nice. They don't skimp on meat or sauces. The combo plate can be easily spilt into two meals. If you want a healthier version, ask for the sauces on the side. A dry combo plate is chock full of protein and rice, with just a hint of lettuce. I asked and it's 12 bucks. Got my falafel and after a few bites - it was not that impressive. Has 5 falafels, and for $12 that is a bit steep if you ask me. But if it was really great falafel then I'd be fine with it. It wasn't. Seasoning a bit bland, I didn't get extra sauce I asked for, and the sauce itself did not taste quality good. It's not worth the money I paid for. It wasn't bad, it was just okay and did not come close to expectations, so 2-stars (could of been better) suits them well. I'm always eager to try new cuisine, their menu looks good, but I detest those places who don't post prices. That just means they can change it anytime they want to and there's no way of tracking it. Because the falafel was subpar and too expensive, I won't be trying anything else on the menu as it usually results in the same or less. So I've crossed these guys off my list. Put people over profits. Give them a great product at a fair price. Then I'll be your fan for life.

That alone says a lot. The sauces are incredible, the chicken is packed with flavor, and the rice is on point. What really sets this place apart for me is the ability to customize your salad and get sauces on the side rather than having everything pre-loaded, which a lot of other shawarma spots don't offer. Generous portions too. The food truck park it sits in also has free, decent parking, so no stress on that front. One thing to be aware of: I have found sharp bone fragments in the chicken on more than one occasion, which is a real safety concern. It may just be a byproduct of how the meat is carved off the spit, but it is something to watch out for. We also received free baklava once as a little treat from the guy running it, which was a genuinely nice gesture. Not my personal favorite dessert, but the hospitality was appreciated. Highly recommend giving this place a try.

The yellow basmati rice was delicious and the salad was very refreshing. Flavors were good overall, but the meats were dry and overcooked. The white sauce helped add some moisture. The Beef Kabab Plate came with two skewers, while the Mix Shawarma Plate came with gyros and chicken shawarma. The salad included diced pickles which was interesting and added a nice contrasting acidity. Dolma ($5.99): This came with four pieces of dolma, pita bread, white sauce, and hot sauce. The dolma was better than expected, though I personally prefer falafel. Hummus ($5.99): Delicious and paired perfectly with the soft pita. Baklava ($3): A generous sized pastry that was okay. We have had better baklava elsewhere.

Service was friendly and the trailer is situated in a parking lot of other fast food trucks so the atmosphere is fun and lively. Flavors wise it was ok-a little on the unseasoned/blander side; it didn't quite get those notes that I was looking for. Portion to value wise it fell a little flat as well. Fifteen bucks for a very skimpy pita, I thought 8 euro was a little steep but man, stateside prices are a whole other thing.
