The bathroom was atrocious and that's being nice. Thanks! Very loud air conditioning inside and was difficult to hear the server (plus this drummer's hearing isn't great), so asking what was recommended became me ordering two random items and a mango lassi. Holic Chicken Kabob was ok. Portion was sufficient and a little spicy. One piece of the chicken was rubbery, the first one I tried, of course. Also got the Masala Half Fry. Small, spicy, and ok. As in my previous review, the tenders were enormous--close to half a chicken breast each. At first glance, the price point might seem a bit high but you get a lot of food. Another word on spices: Dave's seems to run "zippier" than most. I ordered mild spice today and it still had plenty of zing. That's fine with me, but considering ordering "one level down" if your tastes are on the milder side (like my usual companion's). Based on this most recent experience I'll definitely stop in again when I'm on The Pike.

I was given a card my first visit to Shah's when I ordered the chapli chicken platter, a bowl with ground chicken patties with spices, and included a few pakora chips. The bowls are customized at the counter, adding sauteed peppers'n'onions, black beans, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, hummus, chickpeas, etc. I usually keep it simple. They are very generous with their signature white sauce and you might want to ask for less, and the green sauce is tasty too. The pakora chips are very good, I recommend anyone skip the french fries this time to try them instead. I wasn't a fan of the pita, thick and without much flavor.
