Chole and Paratha

We love stopping for food at Eggholic, outside Camp Hill, PA. It's become our go-to stop for food when we travel to visit family. We never miss it. And for good reason. For authentic Indian breakfast dishes and street food snacks, very few restaurants across PA, Virginia, DC and Maryland offer the quality of Eggholic. We order Dabeli, a delicious snack from Gujarat in western India (hard to find on most menus) and Chai. This trip we ordered Chole with Paratha. In 2025, Eggholic is celebrating 7 years in business, and offered a BOGO special on our visit. Our favorite part is seeing Chef Maya, who makes some of my favorite Chai and the best Dabeli. Looking forward to coming againh

This restaurant's theme is mainly Indian Street food with a strong egg-based menu. It is great for vegetarians who need to get their protein. The ambiance is really nice with a big open space and ample seating. It is very clean, but one thing that would be useful is a hand sanitizer station. The food was pretty good. Their spice level for medium was a little less than the average indian medium spice, didn't try the spiciest level for the dishes today. Top of the favorites were the sandwiches. Both the samosa sandich and masala chicken sandwich were a good mix of masala, cheese, and fresh veggies. Next up is the lava pulav. It was a hefty portion , and the plate is lined with a thin omlette at the bottom which was a nice touch because there were different types of egg in the pulav (omlette, scrambled, boiled). It was full of flavor, I wish I got the spiciest level for this dish. The rass bhurji was good, it has the warm and soft texture that's good for rainy days or when you feel under the weather. The toofani chicken was not a favorite all around. The chicken was dry and the curry base was a little too tomato heavy, would not really recommend it. The curry dishes come with bread or roti, the roti was the thin roti type. They do have limca and thumbs up available (!!), as well as mango lassi. It is also BYOB. This place would be a good place to eat after having a night out.

Excellent food and extremely nice staff. A must try if you're in the area. Everything we had was very flavorful.

Good wraps, rolls and my favorite is -Toofani paneer sandwiches. Coupled with quick service and a calm, quiet place. Will be a regular.
