However, the telehealth nurse consultation was by far the worst experience I've ever had. I had already completed all my basic information on the iPad, which should have made the identity check quick and simple--just like my friend's session, which took only a minute with basic questions about name, DOB, and allergies. Instead, the virtual nurse I spoke with acted as if she were a doctor, asked the exact same question over 5 times, and repeatedly pressed for details I clearly expressed hesitation to share. To make matters worse, when she noticed my uncomfortable response, she actually giggled and seemed to enjoy it. Her behavior was extremely rude, unprofessional, and frankly bizarre. It was so bad that I genuinely wondered if I was being intentionally mocked or racially discriminated against. I couldn't believe someone could act this way in a healthcare setting. Because of this specific telehealth nurse, I woke up this morning still feeling deeply upset.
