I accept that it is something necessary but I don't want to have a big sign when I walk in. They don't have enough people and it is always busy. I go here to save money. I have very thick and long hair that took about 25-30 minutes to blow dry. After blow drying I would have to use a straightener. Who has time for that in the morning before work? Not me! Friendly staff that always seems welcoming in a clean, happy environment. Most importantly, the owner genuinely CARES about the clientele and I have seen him--time and time again--make extra effort to make sure that people are happy. When we moved to California for a couple of years, I would find myself arranging trips back to the Boston area timed when I needed a haircut. I am not saying EVERYONE will like Charles Joseph enough to fly 6000 miles to get their hair cut, but I suspect I am not the only customer to feel this way. Sometimes, highly rated businesses really deserve the high rating. This is absolutely one of those times.
