My son said " dad, do you know who that is, that's Merab"! Wonderful experience we will definitely be back. And as we got home, and my son looked in the mirror, he said" dang I look fresh"

I knew there was work to put in before getting what I wanted. Holly helped me understand what colors my hair needed to go through before achieving the look I wanted. I was sitting at Level 2 and what I wanted was a Level 10. Obviously, this was a more than one session type of thing. We had to work to remove the red. Holly was amazing, me and her have the same interests in shows and so we clicked pretty well. She suggested a more realistic hair color we could get to, that we could sit at before getting to my goal. She even suggested a hair cut that would suit me, which I love. 10/10 wanna stick with Holly, she gets me! My hair is also in the middle of its growth journey, so she didnt chop off a crazy amount of my hair.

I went in on a Wednesday in desperate need of a rescue after the last barber at a different shop…read morecompletely messed me up. I found Elliot & Co through their raving Yelp reviews and was booked with Xzavier. Xzavier is an absolute perfectionist. He's not the biggest talker, but he doesn't need to be -- his scissors and razor do the talking. He takes time to fully understand your request, makes thoughtful recommendations based on your head shape, and even considers how your hair will look as it grows out. The level of detail and precision he brings to the cut is something most barbers miss. The shop itself is clean, welcoming, and consistent with the quality I've experienced at The Garrison (same owner). From check-in to the final style, the entire experience feels elevated and professional. Overall, if you want a barber who genuinely cares about the result and takes pride in delivering a precise, high-quality cut, book with Xzavier. Highly recommended.

I'd sit there listening to my father and him talk as much shit as possible in the time allotted.       Back then I never understood it.       As I got older I switched from a barber to various salons. The cost of my cuts went from very basic to hours long with a multitude of crazy colors applied. Nuts. I'm happy my mother always taught me to take care of my hair. I miss the man bun days in Boulder sometimes, but I don't miss the 4-hour long stylist adventures. I'm grateful I still have it too, and I take care of it, like the rest of my body.       It's taken me forever to find a spot that has that same feel I had growing up. When I found Nobleman Quarters ( @noblemanquarterslv ) I was blown away. Finally I found a place I could talk shit, expressing everything I've endured, while getting a great cut, even a killer massage, and be reminded of those times with my dad.       Thank you Tanna ( @misstanna44 ) for helping me identify as 35 countless times, and most importantly realizing that keeping a door open to the past in any way is not only toxic as fuck, but it's blocking the door God's trying to close to open what he truly has in store for me.
