FRIED MY HAIR! Found Jacqueline on Yelp after my hairstylist that goes between LA & Vegas was not available around Xmas. Went to the salon she works at to show her my hair & asked her if she can bleach my roots. Told her I don't need toner as I like it yellower. She confirmed she can do it and we scheduled an appointment. Nice clean salon, and Jacqueline was polite and pleasant, however since my visit on December 23rd, 2023 my hair broke off all over the top/crown and especially on the right side! I was not gonna mention it or ever go back to her but the damage was so grotesque that nothing could be done on my following appointments with experienced hairstylists. Not to mention Jacqueline left the orange under-processed roots on the bottom & through out so I had to pay a lot to color correct what she did! Since she damaged the hair I also had to cut about 12" all around and lost about 25" from the top layers of my head! Devastating, no excuses! I have been bleaching my hair for years & using excellent products/masks at home, not to mention my hair is pretty strong. The difference is visible in the before and after photos. I don't like to leave negative reviews but in this case it's a must so Jacqueline does not take on bleach jobs she has no idea how to do. I consulted a few hair professionals after this happened in December and they were in shock - both said Jacqueline had bleach overlap that touched hair under the hair & must of seen the hair dissolve when she rushed to wash it off - hence under-developed roots at bottom/her asking to do a mask I did not need & still adding toner even though I said I don't want toner - confirms she knew she ruined it ! She knew she fried my hair off & I did not even realize it until it started severely breaking & continues breaking to this day! I don't even blow out my hair but let it air dry to not lose even more hair! She never texted to see how I like the bleach job after cause she knew she messed up, never texted to see if I needed another follow up appointment either as all stylists do in a month or so. I paid about $300 for this including tip & $50 deposit. This review is gonna stay here even though after I uploaded photos first I suddenly received a text from Jacqueline claiming my hair was already damaged and to take it down. Go to her at your own risk if you want to end up with 2 inches of hair sticking out at the top of your head. It will take me 5+ years now to regrow my hair & probably 10 years to get it to the length I had before I unfortunately used Jacqueline's services! And it will take a lot of money for treatments/masks to prevent further breakage after the damage SHE CAUSED! I am VERY upset. There are no excuses and no way to fix this mess. A follow up reply to Jacqueline :) Jacqueline, as unprofessional as you are - you think offense is the best defense. The blatant liar here is YOU. I updated photos with date stamps & have all our texts & a video I sent you, your replies plus the nasty message you sent me today demanding I remove my review. I got videos I took at the salon & photo you took of my long hair - nowhere you say that my hair is damaged/short or you can't do it. You confirmed when I came by prior to the appt that you do bleach, you also confirmed it again via text after I send you a video in which you can clearly see my long healthy blond hair showing my roots that need to be touched up & me asking for NO TONER. I can upload the video next :) Before you start calling anyone a liar check the date stamps on the newly uploaded photos of my hair that is LONG and way pass my shoulders before & after you did it, accept after YOU FRIED my hair it looks significantly thinner & in the days/months that followed it continuously broke off. I can post my clear and honest review anytime I please, you don't get to choose when people review your "work" especially that I have bern in which for months trying to salvage the hair and crying over it - the fact remains - you can't do bleach, you should not do bleach AND you should not lie :) especially when evidence, photos, texts and video is available. After you fried my hair and a bunch dissolved in the bowl while you washed it you suggested I get extensions and I told you I don't want extensions since my own hair is long and I got a lot of it. Own up to your mistake and don't screw hair up, fake photos you got on Yelp do not count. Stick to what you know - but you clearly can't do bleach - or better yet - stop ruining hair - doing hair or customer service is obviously not for you - go back to your old profession that you told me about if you know what I mean. And I will repeat this one last time since I am not interested in the back and forth with a PROVEN LIAR - you deserve this review! read more

I am so beyond grateful to Jacqueline for her gentle hand at removing my Brazilian Knot extensions! I had them done in another state and honestly it had reached its threshold, a lot of stylists were not confident they could get it out without cutting my hair as no one specializes in this type of extension here in Vegas. She did a great job, took her time and I left with all my hair and a beautiful hair cut! She really cares about the integrity of your hair! And she does not care about how much time she spends on your hair but that you walk out of the salon feeling beautiful and that her work is beautiful!
