After two months since my haircut I'm still in awe at how I can just wake up and put minimal effort into making my hair look good. I don't even know what Margo did that was different than the others but it's been freeing. I've had many hairstylists over the years across Canada and also in the UK. I get anxious when booking with a new stylist but Margo immediately put me at ease. She exudes confidence without arrogance. She listened to my preferences and adjusted along the way. Over the years, I have been served by many different staff here since I first moved to Ottawa in 1999 and have always been happy. Unfortunately today the owner "Ms. Nguyen" ripped me off. She is the present owner of the shop, having replaced the original "Francesco" years ago. I never had any issues with her in the past. Whenever I have my haircut, it is always her at the cash taking payment. But today She severely overcharged me for my cut. Even after I tried to point out the error; She said "Too bad". She charged me $45. I explained that I have never paid that much for my cuts and I pointed out that the price on the posted board did not increase. She was not even listening to me at that point. Between Us, It's not even like I have that much hair to cut, as I have been balding for years and it is never very long. I have never asked to be charged only for a trim even though, that is really the extent of the haircut performed. I apologized to Tony, my long-time Barber and explained that I would not be returning in the future. I really hope that She does not drive away so much business that her staff suffer from lost earnings.

I don't think the location's physically accessible, as there are 2-3 steps in the front. I didn't use the bathroom, so I can't comment on that. I visited Rachel, and her services were fabulous. I had wanted a dramatic hair change, and brought photos. For the first time in my life, my haircut was exactly like the photos I brought in. I don't think I've had such a successful haircut before.
