I always thought that this was a barber shop since this is where my husband gets his hair cut with Celia Gonzales. I was mistaken. It was a pleasure meeting Ms. Gonzales. She was very friendly, and she even invited me to join her at the next marathon. I had my hair cut somewhere else the day before we went to this place, and she informed me that her partner Alex Guerrero does A style cuts, but he's by appointment only. Since I get undercuts more often than my A style cut, I'll be seeing Ms. Gonzales, when my husband gets another haircut. read more

today I took my 7 yo. son to get his haircut at a place we've been going to for the past few months. Ive continued coming back because I like the way celia cuts hair, she's quick, and over time my son has become much better about sitting still. he's a little ticklish and sometimes moves, but I always remind him to relax and do his best. she's even told him herself how much he's improved. there have been several occasions where she's rolled her eyes or made comments "ugh, it's you again." ive always brushed it off and ignored it because i wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt and continue supporting her because i liked her work and the salon is convenient for my family. well today was different. when we walked in, she was sitting in her chair and i politely asked, "are you available?" she rolled her eyes, shrugged her shoulders, sighed loudly, and got up with an attitude before telling my son to sit down. at that point, i told her, "nevermind, it's fine," and we walked out. i have always been respectful, and patient. i even tip because i know working with children can require extra patience. It was my way of showing appreciation for her work, despite the attitude and comments we experienced. what bothered me is that my son has heard the comments she's made in the past, including "ugh, it's you again." she could have simply said that she wasn't comfortable cutting his hair. I would have completely understood and stopped bringing him. no child should feel like they're an inconvenience for simply getting a haircut. i understand everyone has bad days, but repeatedly making a child feel unwelcome is not okay! i would strongly recommend avoiding Celia if you're bringing young children she's extremely rude read more

Been coming here for hair cuts for me and my son for a year now. Very friendly barbers and there is always parking available. You don't have to worry if u don't have an appointment. It take no longer than 20 Minutes for a cut my son loves that. Reasonable pricing as well. read more

Updating my review because both my teens got their haircut last week, and you know how tough teens are to please... well, Alex did not disappoint. Both my kids came out extremely happy with their cuts! Alex always takes his time to make sure that my kids are happy with their cuts. He's so patient and checks in regularly throughout the cut to see if It's to their liking. Definitely recommend! read more

Alex is great!! Very personable & patient. Does as you ask for. Stop by & check it out!

What can I say!!!! This place is amazing. My husband got the fastest and best haircut ever! I kid you not.. it was literally less than 10 minutes... probably 5 minutes and she was nice and welcoming.. friendly and reasonably priced. We will certainly be back. She doesn't take appointments but we walked in and walked out in less than 10 minutes and she was amazing!!! read more

I just had my haircut done today at this location and the lady that did my cut was asking ME how to do it . How uncomfortable is that when she's in the middle of the haircut. She speed off on cutting my hair like if it was a fucking race, messed up my hair. ( keep in mind there was nobody there )it all makes sense. She didn't even asked me if I wanted a square or round cut in the back .left me with hairs all over the place .worst place to go , UNPROFESSIONAL . Take your time and look for the right place people ! This place don't care about your comments they just want your 16 dollars. read more

My partner called to get an appointment for him and our young son and the women who answered the phone said "ughhhhh" when we told her our son was 3 and was extremely rude. She said "ugh just come later!" I've been scoping out this barber because we really want to find a barber that we love and can become "regulars" at but that woman's attitude was so gross and unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend this place. They had time for my partner but I would rather give our business and $$$$ to a place that is welcoming and professional and doesn't freak out over a 3 year old's hair cut. I just still can't believe how nasty bad unprofessional this woman was. Take your business elsewhere. read more

Searched high and low for an affordable barber closer to home and luckily came across Hair Time on Yelp. No need to look any further because Alex is the man! He's friendly, his booth is clean and he gives a great hair cut at a great price. Best of all, it's only by appointment which means no waiting! Alex if you're reading this, you rock! read more

I made an appointment yesterday with Alex for a 6 p.m. appointment today. I went in and a lady there look surprised and said who are you? I said I spoke with someone yesterday and confirm an appointment for today at 6 pm. She said I haven't seen him all day you can call the telephone number on the door if you want to speak with him. I saw a business card for Alex on the door and proceeded to call. He said oh I won't be in today but can we schedule you for tomorrow. I had given him my telephone number yesterday but he did not have the professionalism to call me and let me know not to come in. When we got there my husband had recognized a place and told me he had had a bad experience there as well but I thought I'd give it a shot. Do not come here!!!! read more

I have been coming here for year it's been awhile but no matter what I get the hook up and always walk out satisfied

Nice folks that are open late with a good price. My haircut isn't going to win any styling awards but that's not what I asked for. Easy freeway access and easy parking and friendly staff that get you in and out pretty quickly. Cons: no air conditioning, the seating is a little ragged, and maybe not so sure about the sanitation, but I really like the barbers and the haircut, so... four stars! read more

Horrible rude staff! Walked in and said good morning and the stylist said, "what do you want, I'm busy!" There was one client in the entire place. Awful service. Too busy to do her job lol. Absolutely absurd! read more

Can't say enough good things about this place. Bottom line: you get a salon looking hair cut for barbershop prices. These guys know how to cut hair at reasonable prices. I've been bringing my son here for years and wouldn't go anywhere else. I've recommended it to others and everyone has left satisfied. The owners are two brothers and they treat everyone that shows up like family. Love this place! read more

Met Celia, one of the owners, tonight and got a great haircut at a fantastic price. Asked for scissors for the top and side but long enough to comb back, 5 tapered for the back and a 3 at the base (I call this the 'George Clooney'). The haircut came out exactly as I wanted. I'll see you next time Celia for my next haircut! read more

WORST PLACE EVER!! asked if they could dye my hair from dark to light. He said yes . My hair looks the same from when I went in!!! What a WASTE of money!!!! Never again!! read more

Been coming here with my son for years. Never disappointed with Alex's cuts and the price is reasonable! Thanks Alex.

I've been coming here off and on for many years. Celia has been pretty consistent in cutting my hair and she's quick. Her partner Alex is as busy as Celia in cutting hair. It's a simple place with no frills but both Celia and Alex are friendly peeps. Parking sucks but there is street parking close by. read more

First time cutting here. Alex is the man ! Super friendly, super accommodating, and will make sure you leave happy. Pricing is great. Mens haircut pricing is starting to skyrocket and this shop has stayed true to affordable and great service. Will be a regular here. Great experience and attention to detail. Alex won't let you leave his chair until you have a 5 star experience ! read more

I love love love how Alex cuts my hair. Whether I want it a shorter style or keep it long with layers he never fails to amaze me. And he's so quick, in and out in 20 mins. Does an amazing job. I drive from Palmdale to have him cut my hair :-) read more

It's been a while since I've been here for my haircut because of school but Alex never fails to disappoint! I'll be real, I'm an Asian American male with thin and straight hair which means I know how difficult it is to find a barber who can cut your hair right. Alex is already really good, and time after time he's done me right. Thanks Alex! read more

Been coming here for about 2 years now and have never received anything but a great cut from Alex!! Highly recommend hair time.

The best haircut place ever. Everyone is so nice and I go there every time to cut my hair.

Called ahead to make an appointment and was told that they don't take appointments. I then asked how busy they were and the person who answered the phone said there was no wait so we got in the car immediately and got there in 10 minutes to find 1 Barber and 5 people waiting. Waited a whole hour before I got fed up and left. This isn't the first time this has happened, on our previous visit, it took about 2.5 hours to get out of there after the wait time and haircut. These guys do give clean haircuts but the wait completely kills it for me. read more
