Parking is available to the side of the building and back, few spots in the front but I believe those are for expecting mothers. They offer a bevvie at the door, and smiles galore. Ever had long hour hair appointments where you find yourself staring into void space and dozing off? Shag is upbeat, the atmosphere is sleek with lots of eye candy, art on the walls and good beats. Magazines galore and WIFI to boot! There's also a communal table in the center of the work area which is great for socializing, and not having to be confined to your chair. I love it! More importantly is the craft that's going on in this busy hive. I have dark hard-to-dye hair, and if you have dark hair, you'll know where I'm coming from. Keeping a lighter shade of hair is an absolute nightmare, having to lift the roots and then color, and then match up the two over laps. I came in to have my roots colored, and expecting to have over dyed ends AGAIN, I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't need the rest of my hair dyed. Karissa is a master of her craft, and checked on me very frequently just to get the color right. I haven't gotten a cut yet, but that'll be my anticipated visit. The color set me back $60 and came with conditioning and style - just right as I was heading out that night. Reasonable, and moreso because I was so delighted with how well it turned out. Definately making this my go to salon, and recommending this place. You shag, I shag, we all should shag!

I wasn't sure what we could do since my hair was bleach blonde dyed black on the roots, but Kelsey went above and beyond and got my blonde back in one session. DO NOT GO HERE! Don't waste your money!…read more Well I would like to begin with if I could give no starts that's what I would give. I went there to get a trim and nails done. So I have to admit I was 15 minutes late for my appointment which is understandable but they could've just rebooked me if it was gonna be such a big deal and after I got my nails done I got trim and a little bit of bangs. Well I called back because one of my nails had already broken off and I explained to them that I didn't feel comfortable seeing the same girl but the receptionist jake kept pushing and pushing and making me feel more uncomfortable until the point where I wanted to speak with a manager. The manager I spoke with was very nice and assured me if I came back to get my nail fixed everything would be ok and no judgment. But boy was she wrong. The lady that did my nails was so rude I waved to her and said hi and she just looked at me and walked in the place. And not to mention so rough because I explained to the manager the reason it took 2 1/2 hours to do my nails was because she didn't use the drill and just used a nail file. Well I can see why she didn't use a drill because she chopped my fingers up trying to fix her job she did the first time. And than she started to shame me because when I waved to her I was having a smoke and said well you can't have your nails white because you smoke and they will turn yellow right away. Just an all together horrible experience there. And the guy who cut my hair I felt like he was judging me because I had just had my nails done and my makeup was done and he said "oh where are you going to a big party?" And I asked for a trim to try and get all my ends not looking so fried. And not a straight across cut and as I was explaining to him he just brushed me off like ya ya I know what you are talking about. But clearly he didn't and not to mention my bangs he fucked them up doesn't even look like bangs. I will never be going back here and will advise everybody I know not to go to this place just because of the disrespect that I was given by the employees there and not to mention after I went back and got the nail fixed the exact same one broke in the exact same spot horrible. Oh ya and she didn't take the extra gel that was under my nails as well

First, I must say I love the haircut Tifini gave me, as per usual…read more I'm afraid this poor review stems from my experience in their "new space." The stylist beside us was almost bumping into me because the stylists' workspaces are so small and crowded. Plus, a man getting a haircut with the barber was literally facing straight at me -- awkward!!!! The new space feels unfinished, deenergizing and sterile. I'm sorry but I can not stand that passerbys in the mall can see me in my unkept state due to the two large panes of uncovering windows. Couldn't there at least be frosting on the windows for privacy? Sadly, I would not go there if it weren't for Tifini. For the cost of services, the environment should be MUCH better. First Choice Hair is even way better. Sorry for the complaints, but this place needs serious work and more space. DM

Their new facility is crowded and noisy and not the least bit inviting. It's windows are also open to the mall and clients feel like they're in a fishbowl. So much for a relaxed quiet visit to Angles - it's now tiny, crowded, noisy and the exact opposite of "relaxing".

My stylist today was Diana, she listened to what I had to say and gave suggestions along the way. Diana was very professional and easy to talk to. Having a personable stylist to me is just as important as the hair cut. Stylists and clients at other chairs joined in on conversations as well, it was like a big group of friends getting together. I walked out today with a great hair cut, my hair feels so much lighter and much healthier. I am usually the girl that gets to the car and has a cry about my hair so this was an amazing experience for me. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner of the salon who does esthetics. I will definitely be going back to see her!! If you are looking for a new salon this is the place to go!!

My initial question upon entry was, "How much for a trim?" I was surprised to hear that it was only $25, but since it was my first visit I would receive 10% off. Awesome, I thought, let's do it. I was immediately seated at a stylists chair, since I was the only customer at the time, and promptly introduced to Sashi, my stylist for the day. It wa great friendly service from the two ladies working that day. My stylist, Sashi, really understood what I meant when I said I wanted to keep the length. She said she would only take off what was necessary to get rid of the dead ends. I loved her! She took maybe a centimetre off my ends, and fixed up my bangs for me. Once I was done I inquired about waxing, since many places are extremely over-priced. They told me I could have a full Brazilian done for only $40... I think that's pretty amazing. I decided to skip the invasive waxing for the day and just get my brows threaded instead. Now, I've never had the threading done, only the waxing. I've got to say, after experiencing threading of the brow, I don't think I'll ever go back to waxing! The overall experience at Trends was fabulous. I was in and out with a splendid trim and my eyebrows done in under 40 minutes... and it cost me under $40! That's a winner in my books!
