Ok, so this was strange experience but it was AWESOME too!…read more A client of mine told me where she got some really sweet earrings she was wearing and said it was at Beauty World. Beauty World? I ask, "where is that?" Shocked!! She said that it was on Ash street in Goldsboro. Apparently, a lot of people in Gboro know where this is so I had to go and see what this was all about. I will tell you that it is predominately a place where interested parties buy their hair extensions and weaves. I did get some stares when I walked in. Perhaps I do not look like the type of person to wear hair weaves, which I will take as a good thing. I walked in and there was a wall of at least 1000 pairs of earrings. The best part???? Most of the earrings were 99cents each! Yes, 99cents each!!!! Granted, I had to sift through most of them but I walked out with 10 pairs of earrings and a couple of cute bangled bracelets. It's prob not a place I would have gone in on my own, but after a recommendation from someone and seeing her cute earrings, I am so glad that I did!!

For the past year or two, they seem to get worse and worse every month. You cannot request a refill and expect any kind of timeframe for it to be filled. They flat out tell you they have too many prescriptions and can't tell you when it will be ready. Today was just the last straw in dealing with them. I waited four hours after calling this morning for my refills to be ready. I went to pick them up, and they can't even locate one of them so I just left without it. I am transferring everything to CVS. I have no idea if they are any better, but I don't see how they can be any worse.

Shopped here at the Goldsboro store for the first time on October 6, 2020. The store was very…read moreclean, well-lit and had some good sales. I picked up some bath towels and mats for my new house, but didn't have as much time to look around as I would have liked because the store was closing at 8 pm! I've worked for JC Penney in two different states, shop the chain regularly across the country, and this is the first Penney's I've ever seen that closed at 8 pm on a weekday!! Every other store closed at 9 (and some in Texas stay open until midnight during the Christmas shopping season! It was quite disappointing. Still, it's nice to have one in my new city and I will certainly be back.
