While the first appointment was pleasant, I left with an unexpected brassy brown shade that didn't reflect the highlighted color I had asked for. Still, I trusted her recommendation and returned for a follow-up. I arrived 10 minutes late due to a family emergency, which I clearly explained to the staff. I also mentioned I had a flight in just a few hours. Despite this, I was left waiting for an entire hour before being informed that Amela would only be able to cut my hair--not color it. A client's time is just as valuable as the stylist's. If being 10 minutes late was truly going to prevent the full service, that should have been communicated upfront--instead of making me wait unnecessarily. Frankly, I wouldn't want someone working on my hair who thinks ten minutes is enough time to rush through a proper appointment. This experience was deeply unprofessional and inconsiderate. I will not be returning.

They give the best hair washes. Everyone is so talented but my go to is Donna and Shane. They have worked on me, my daughters and my mother. Always a beautiful job. The cost of my haircut wasn't much compared to other places ($40 and of course I brought extra for tip). They take cash or card. This hair salon is very cute and it reminds me a bit of Manhattan. It's very clean and the staff is very friendly. I've made a membership here and I'll be going there every month to get my hair done.

I planned on cutting about 6-8inches off of my hair so it was a huge deal to me that whoever was cutting my hair had experience. Amina was so sweet and helped me decide my haircut! The reviews about Emma gave us a good feeling. We called Saturday morning and Emma was very busy, but was extremely nice and said she likes doing updo's and said she'd call back after work and said she'd be working late. I know why she was working late, she's very good and she sincerely wants to help everyone. The shop closes at 8 but she finished up at 8PM and called and said she'd fit Linda in at 1PM. The salon has 1 pedicure and manicure chair (therefore wise to make an appointment in order to avoid waiting). Location-Parking- 5/5 Located in the bustling town of Westbury. Close to Roosevelt field mall and many other shopping stores. Parking is conveniently located behind the building and plenty of street parking as well. Customer Service- 4/5 Everyone was really sweet and Lorena was polite. She wasn't fluent in English so we didn't communicate much but overall she was respectful. Manicure/pedicure experience- 3/5 Pedicure was great they even provide you with yellow flip flops therefore 2 stars for that. The color selection for gel manciurcan be better but overall not bad. I wasn't happy with my gel manicure at all. Lorena didn't effectively remove my cuticles even though I requested her to do so twice. If the cuticles are not removed properly my nails tend to look dry after few hours. Most salons always use something to soften the cuticles before removing them but Lorena didn't. Hmm I love the warm towel salons provide you with for your hands which was never given to me. I had to ask Lorena at the end if she can apply some cuticle oil for me because they looked really dry.
