Although I knew that only one of the stylists was particularly well-known on Instagram, I was assured that everyone there was experienced and that I would be in good hands. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing, especially considering the price. I was asked to arrive on time, which I completely understand, but I did have to wait a little after arriving. That wasn't a big deal at all. What bothered me more was that my stylist didn't look at any of the inspirational pics I had saved to show her. Instead, as I was describing what I wanted, I was told that the style I wanted was something they do "all day, every day," which made me feel confident that I was in good hands, so I didn't press on it too much. Unfortunately, the final result looked very different from what I had asked for. I completely understand that everyone's hair is different and that a particular style may not turn out exactly the same on every person. However, the photos I had (which she didn't look at) were of hair that was quite similar to mine, so I expected at least a closer interpretation of the look I was going for. I left feeling like my vision wasn't really heard or taken into consideration. When I asked about the price beforehand, I was told it would be $100 and up. I was surprised because I have never paid that much for a wash, cut, and blowout, but I was willing to pay it for a good experience and a result I loved. The final price, however, was $150. Apparently the stylist on IG starts at $150 and "up". The price itself wouldn't have bothered me nearly as much if I had walked out feeling happy with my hair. Unfortunately, I didn't. For $150, I expected a much higher level of service, attention to what I requested, and, most importantly, a result that reflected the style I came in asking for. I don't like leaving negative reviews, and I understand that things don't always turn out perfectly. But I feel this salon is significantly overpriced for the service I received. I have NEVER paid $150 for a wash, cut, and blowout, and based on my experience, I unfortunately don't feel the service justified the cost and I don't think I will return.

The first time I've made an appointment it was cancelled the day before due to Lorena (manicurist) being sick. Second appointment was also with Lorena. Ambiance/interior -4/5 Beautiful clean salon!! The salon has 1 pedicure and manicure chair (therefore wise to make an appointment in order to avoid waiting). Location-Parking- 5/5 Located in the bustling town of Westbury. Close to Roosevelt field mall and many other shopping stores. Parking is conveniently located behind the building and plenty of street parking as well. Customer Service- 4/5 Everyone was really sweet and Lorena was polite. She wasn't fluent in English so we didn't communicate much but overall she was respectful. Manicure/pedicure experience- 3/5 Pedicure was great they even provide you with yellow flip flops therefore 2 stars for that. The color selection for gel manciurcan be better but overall not bad. I wasn't happy with my gel manicure at all. Lorena didn't effectively remove my cuticles even though I requested her to do so twice. If the cuticles are not removed properly my nails tend to look dry after few hours. Most salons always use something to soften the cuticles before removing them but Lorena didn't. Hmm I love the warm towel salons provide you with for your hands which was never given to me. I had to ask Lorena at the end if she can apply some cuticle oil for me because they looked really dry.
