I started seeing Maayan for my hair extensions about a year or so ago. I wanted to find someone who used Bellami hair as that is what I was familiar with and liked. While on the expensive side, it is great quality. I first started doing tape in's with her as that is what I had been previously doing. We talked a few times about doing sew in wefts but she never pressured me. I eventually tried it and loved it. It's definitely less maintenance and less mess! I've not had to color my hair as the extensions luckily match but if I were to color or highlight my hair, I would definitely trust Maayan. She's also particular and does great work. When we got there, we agreed immediately and were taken care of fabulously by the staff. I also got an additional treatment where I got my eyebrows waxed, and my waxer was incredibly professional and very sweet. We had a wonderful conversation. The overall studio is exceptionally, relaxing and comfortable. There is seating available for a variety of body types, and I found the facilities to be accessible, as someone who is walking with a cane.

I'd advise against going there; although the woman who cut my hair didn't "butcher" it per se, she didn't do what I'd asked for - I'd asked very clearly for long layers, and she basically took her sweet time... cutting my hair straight across. I could've done that on my own. So right after realizing that Great Clips wouldn't be able to deliver, I went and found House of Style, basically across the parking lot. The stylist I wound up with at HOS, Leslie, fixed the job that Great Clips did by doing what I'd originally wanted. It looked great. When I called in today to set up an appointment with Leslie, I was saddened to find out that she no longer worked there. No worries, though; when I went in the first time, all the people there seemed to know what they were doing. I ended up getting Katie this time, who also did a fantastic job styling my hair. The whole shebang ended up being $40 for a wash, cut, and style/blow-dry (I do have long hair). Not too shabby! Overall, the people there are friendly and even though I've only dealt with two stylists, I get the impression that they all pretty much know what they're doing. Definitely recommend.
