Meanwhile, several stylists are in the back just talking, instead of taking walk‑ins. Walk-ins are frowned up. When I asked if I could get a haircut, I was told they were "booked solid," even though no new customers came in during the time I observed (about 20-30 min in my car). The lack of transparency and the dismissive, almost annoyed attitude toward questions is disappointing and unprofessional. For comparison, I went to the Hair Cuttery in Ellicott City right after this experience. They were genuinely busy, yet still greeted me warmly and fit me in without issue. That's the level of customer service I expect. This location needs serious management intervention if it hopes to survive in an area with plenty of other options. Until then, I'll continue driving past Mt. Airy to spend my money where it's appreciated.

I don't go here to be stuck with a poorly trained person, and I am really angry not at her, but at the desk staff who tried to pretend I "looked good". With hair sticking up at odd angels and uneven bangs in my face. I felt very set up.
