Oh my no! A million times no!!!…read more I was given a gift certificate for this place for over $100 I made an appointment with a rather grouchy woman, who put me with he most ill-trained stylist I've ever encountered in my life. I told her that I am a cool bleached blonde. I was very specific, please no reds, yellows, orange, please no brass, please use toner. I've had my hair done since I was 15. In hindsight, I could have done a better job using boxed hair bleach from the store! What was the most disturbing is this "stylist" told me she thought someone in her family had been inappropriate with children! WHAT!? Do I need to alert the police? What kind of conversation is this!???! When she was done 4+ hours later, she had turned me a rose gold! Everyone had left the salon! We were the only 2 people there!Uhhhh!?! She also told me that my $100+ gift certificate wasn't enough and that I owed her more money! She then said I could come back and that she would fix it, and it would take another 4+ hours...!!! Are you kidding me right now! I ran for my life! I loudly BOOO at their commercial at Aspen Cinemas! Derp!

The girl who cut my hair was kind of rude and wasn't even going to straighten or style my hair until I asked. When I asked her any questions about hair care she said "I don't know". I took off about 7 inches and went from long to lob. She knew exactly how to do the cut in the most up-to-date and stylish way, and gave me options as we went. I showed her pictures for inspiration too. Her price was extremely reasonable for my wash, cut, and style. She took her time too which was nice- sometimes I feel that when you get just a cut you are rushed through, not the case here. This was my first time to Trichology but definitely not the last!

Most visits to the store I ignore the attitude of the employees, but this last time was more than disappointing. I was met with rudeness and dismissiveness. Instead of a welcoming atmosphere, I felt ignored and unvalued as a customer. One employee in particular did not treat my sister with kindness, she was very judgemental, glared at us the entire time even when I walked in and smiled and said hi, and she was far from helpful. It was enough to make me not ever visit this store again. I hope this is not the standard of service at Ulta, as I've enjoyed shopping there in the past. I went in looking for a skin fade and was directed toward Will. I have been to about 10 barbers since moving back to SW Wyoming and he did an outstanding job. He will be my new barber as all of my expectations were exceeded. He offered great conversation and was extremely polite. This was the best haircut I've had in a long time. I wear a skin fade to the ears blending into about 1 3/4 - 2" on top. It was around $19 before tip. Pretty inexpensive compared to what most shops would demand for this quality in accordance with local rates. Only con is that it is located inside of Walmart so that might be an issue for some folks. It was a non issue for me. They have a waiting room disconnecting the salon from the store. Very satisfied that I've found my new Barber and will continue to make a 110 mile round trip for their services. Thanks Will!
