Natalie is my esthetician (the best in Tahoe FYI) and suggested her Glo Mobile Tan. She always had perfect golden skin her self so I went for it. She is always on time and extremely professional. She is completely self sufficient with her pop up tent and spray kit. She set up in my garage and we were done in just 20 minutes. I left the tan on for 4 hours then showered, even though she did suggest to sleep on it for a better result. My tan was absolutely amazing! I was gearing up for a Tahoe summer wedding and had a perfect tan! I got a ton of compliments on my backless dress which I attribute to NO bikini lines :) No one had any idea that I got a spray tan, it looked so natural and non of that orange look, just golden brown skin. The tan lasted 2.5 weeks, but I do a mild exfoliation every shower which is not the best for keeping the tan around so I am sure if you did less of this it will last even longer. Definitely worth the price, saving the health of your skin, instant results and the boosted confidence when showing more skin.

Here's my experience and what I found out: I decided to bite the bullet and try these guys out instead of going all the way to Reno. This is my first time using a tanning salon, so I know nothing, just like Jon Snow, which was actually the color of my skin as well. I went to Sun Spot on my lunch fully expecting to be met with an employee with an attitude, however, I was not! The front desk associate was super nice and really helpful! I told her this was my first time coming in and I had no idea what I was doing. She totally understood and gave me some recommendations on how to start so I wouldn't get burned. I purchased a 12 pack of low pressure tans (which I have recently upgraded most to high pressure, pay attention to their deals, they're really good when they come up!) and some tanning lotion. They even have a cabinet you can store your tanning lotion in (they put your name on it) which is cool because I always leave mine in my truck and cringe every time I put it on because you know...winter and stuff. I've seen pictures of the place in other yelp reviews from years ago and they make it look like a swap meet tanning salon; I thought I may be able to purchase a straw hat and bootleg DVD's, but no, the salon is actually under new ownership and this team is doing it right! They're fixing up the place, starting red light therapy (if you've never used red lights, you're missing out - you just have to stay consistent), and seem to be truly dedicated to customer experience and satisfaction. I'd say if you had a bad experience in the past couple years, give them another shot. Sun Spot is...the Spot! Also, for the first time in my life, I'm tan...and it's February. The facility is nice. I would be careful on buying products from them. They are cheaper elsewhere…read moreplus they only allow you 10 days for returns. If you buy products online, you get 30 days. I tried concentrated drops and had a reaction. I don't have allergies (they even subtly said how I should have read the ingredients before trying...like that would have made me think twice since I didn't have known allergies) so I called my dermatologist $$ plus was given cream $$....so since you cannot get in asap with an office visit I was 11 days when I tried to return plus $100 out for the office visit. She did say I can have a discounted service....so spend more money. So just a heads up to not purchase products unless you have used them before and like paying the higher price. I was a little disappointed that they couldn't do better, but lesson learned.
