I was slotted with the new stylist and she butchered my hair. She didn't do anything even close to what I asked for or showed her pictures for. I asked for a medium length layered haircut that goes below my collar bone and I got something that's chopped off at my chin in the front and barely touched my shoulders in the back. I had such long hair, to my hips, and now I can't even get the front half of my hair in a ponytail! It's like she tried to cut a bob in the front and stopped half way through??? I will never ever go back. I'm not sure if I want to go get it fixed because it's already several inches shorter than what I asked for in the first place or just grow it out. AND she cut bangs in my hair, that I NEVER asked for and isn't in the picture I showed her. Who cuts bangs without asking, especially when the client didn't have banged in the first place! It's just awful. Don't go here. read more

I have been making my appointments by phone for at least the last 3 years. Today I called to make my appointment here and a very snippy woman told me "We do not take appointments over the phone. You can make an appointment online or come in to make it. " So, I have a choice to go online and register on their website and be forced to endure garbage emails from them for the rest of my life, or drive to their location to make an appointment - meaning I have to go there TWICE if I want my hair cut. Sadly, this salon has little regard for customers. Arrived at 5:20 pm, was told the wait was thirty minutes. We watched 7 people get haircuts in the FULL HOUR they kept us waiting... 20 minuets of that time, 4 of the employees stood at the front desk socializing. One of them did take care of us AFTER the social session. At least three of the customers that were completed while we waited came in after us, and I know at least one had no prior appointment. Sure, an appointment would help, but so would holding social hour until everyone has been taken care of. Will not be back here. read more

Got my hair absolutely butchered here. Had 5 different hair lengths. The girl cut my hair while it was partially wet and dry with texture. Looked like someone just took packaging scissors and went to town. Went back the next day to get it "fixed". Even more butchered and left with a more even mullet. Had to cut off all my hair to fix their mistakes. I've been botched at every hair place in town, but this was by far the worst. Save your money and your hair, don't come here. read more

The lady that did my eyebrows did them HORRIBLY usually I go there and they aren't bad at all, i have an arch in my eyebrows and it's not there anymore my eyebrows turned out so bad I literally don't want to go out in public anymore. I do not recommend getting your eyebrows waxed there save yourself. read more

Yesterday morning I took my eight year old granddaughter into the Hair Cuttery at Westport. What a fiasco!! ABSOLUTE HUMILIATION!!! She was seated and then your employee proceeded to look through her hair for approximately ten minutes. Reminded me of the monkeys you see in the zoo. I can't even begin to tell you how upset my granddaughter was. What an ordeal for an eight year old to go through and then to be told she had lice!! Never mind how angry I was to watch her go through that! Very unprofessional!! We were then directed to Publix and told what to buy. We went to publix and asked the pharmacist, who told us in no uncertain terms she did NOT have lice. Needless to say, I took her to another chain, GREAT CLIPS, where she had no problem getting her hair cut. And done very professional too. A beautiful job!! It's not the first time I've ran into problems with that certain location and for the life of me, I don't know why I keep on returning, getting, shoddy, below par treatment from the employees there. Well, no more! I am happy to say!! I signed up at GREAT CLIPS. I will definitely not be giving Hair Cuttery the benefit of the doubt anymore. read more

Been in this salon 3 times. First time was pretty good. A gentleman hairstylist did a great job. Second time I went back he is off from work. I let someone else cut my hair. Bad! Didn't even look like she gave me a haircut. Third time she was there again, so I said I will pass. I was watching another hairstylist cut another client's hair, she barely cut his hair! So I waited for the other hairstylist hoping he will do a good job. Acceptable, but not great, unlike the first time. So really, it is not the place, it is the hairstylist that makes a good haircut worth coming for. But, I will go back there again, but I need to find out when the gentleman hairstylist is there. read more

I have had only great experience at this location. I have had 3 different stylists and they all did what I asked for and gave some great tips for home care. Recently I decided to have my hair colored there also. I asked for Kimber as she has done my hair the last few times and she was great. I showed her the color I wanted and wanted it very light. (red hair can be tricky), She gave me a treatment to make the hair softer, which was fantastic. My hair is thick and course and dry. The color came out too dark so after I got home I decided it was too dark to lighten after a few washes so I called her and I went back and she took her time to strip it to get it to the color that was just perfect. I love it and now when I go back again we'll have the exact color. I've paid a lot for color that was really bad before (other salons) and they're customer service was awful. Kimber just wanted to make me happy and that's what she did. She actually got the color that I have been trying to get for years! Thanks Kimber, I will be recommending her to others. read more
