In 30 minutes, she did a consultation I got in put a little product in my hair. I just turned around and walked out when she refused to cut my hair dry she insisted she think it's best cut wet and then go in and cut dry to finish. nearly completely dry my hair before she started cutting and my hair was almost completely dry as she's putting product in it, then tries to diffuse. This was a really upsetting experience and I'm glad that I found a 25% off because this was not even worth $32 that I paid. She didn't ask if I liked it and she completely dismissed my inspiration photo. Which was exactly what my hair was when I walked in without the layers. read more

This was one of the most unprofessional salon experiences we've had. My daughter came in for a basic haircut before a job interview. She was told to return because they weren't ready for her, only to be bumped again so a walk-in customer without an appointment could be taken first when she created a scene. She waited close to an additional hour. During the appointment, the stylist, Brittany, openly complained about customers and discussed clients she disliked, which made my daughter very uncomfortable. She showed a photo of a shoulder-length haircut but was given a short bob, with uneven sections and visible areas needing correction. At checkout, we were charged $59 instead of the advertised $31 haircut. We had agreed only to a blow-dry, not a blowout or treatment. No additional service was explained or approved, and what was done did not justify the upcharge. My daughter is autistic, and given her discomfort and difficulty advocating for herself, this situation raises serious concerns. I later called, reported both the behavior and the billing issue, left my contact information for a manager, and never received a response. This experience showed poor customer handling, lack of transparency, and no accountability. I would urge others to be cautious about both service quality and unexpected charges. read more

If I request someone and I show up and it's not with the same person, I don't like that. Honestly, I'm not too sure if we'll be back. I came here for a simple hair color and blow out. Gigi took good care of me. She was honest, straightforward and asked me questions along the service to make sure we were on the same page. She actually cares about you leaving her service happy and cared for. My hair took too long during the bleaching process, so I had to come in the next day to finish dying my hair. I had black box dye previously. I was worried who would work on my hair since Gigi would be out of town. She convinced me that the boss (Deanna) would do a great job. The end results came out beautiful , but not what I asked or paid for. Gigi offered me 3 different blue color shades and to mix/blend the two colors I liked but putting one color on the top and blend the other color towards the ends of my hair. I believe there was a miscommunication/ misunderstanding between Gigi and the boss (Deanna) with forwarding the message, because I chose dark blue with a lighter blue. The other blue shade I didn't choose looked greenish. The boss (Deanna) mentioned in the beginning of the coloring process that it wont look like how i wanted it. I said as long as its blue and beautiful, I don't really mind. At the end, my hair is mostly green and dark blue highlights. The dark blue highlights is barely noticeable. My only issue of this entire service was that I walked out with a different color than I wanted and asked for, and I paid $235+ plus tip and got green colored hair instead of blue. My hair looks beautiful, balayage style. I mentioned my hair looked green, and the boss ( Deanna) said something like "yeah its going to because of how your hair came out bleached yellow, it wouldn't be as vibrant as we liked to". Its still not BLUE. If you knew it would be green, you could have stopped in the middle of it and spoken to me about it and fix it. With 15 minutes left until closing , obviously we can't fix it, but at least offer some money back or a discount, or even a discount for future services, if you wanted me to return as a customer here. I have family who wants me to go back and demand a full refund because $230+ spent, 8 hours total, and got green instead of blue hair. I've been to hair salons to dye my hair only twice in my life. I normally go for blowouts and treatments. I rarely go for hair color because I get overcharged and leave with what I did not asked for. I was hoping my second time would be different. I'm not trying to throw shade or disrespect anyone at this location. With someone who is a lead manager of a business with experience, you would think that if it comes out a wrong color, you would figure of saying something and fixing it instead of trying to convince a customer that its just fine how it is and walk out unsatisfied. It came out beautifully. Just the wrong color. I never wanted green hair, and I can't come back in to fix it because then my hair would be damaged even more because of bleaching again. After sleeping on it, I've grown to just get over being upset and disappointed, and keep it how it is. I will still be annoyed throughout the weeks at work , and people mentioning the "green". Made an appointment for 9:30am this morning. I came in around 9:20am and checked in. They told me thanks and to take a seat. There was another customer being helped at the time and someone waiting in the waiting area. It was about 9:55am and I was still waiting in the waiting area. The staff did not give me an update or apologize for my wait. The woman at the front desk had went to the back of the store after I checked in and stayed there. The other customer was finally finished & being checked out at around 9:57. The staff then called me over (27 minutes after my scheduled appointment) the hairdresser quickly apologized for the wait. And then immediately got down to business. I understand that there are probably COVID boundaries in place but I was disappointed to wait almost 30 minutes when I already had an appointment set. If it had gone for any longer I would have gotten up and walked out. I was in for a simple cut. No blow dry. I was in and out in 20 minutes. Staff got the job done & no major issues there. read more

I went there a week ago, and when I walked in the door, the lady escorted me to a chair and asked me what I wanted. I told her that what I wanted, used to be called a long shag, then it was called a cap shag, and now the kids called a wolf cut, that's what I want. I wanted it trimmed layered and thinned. 10 minutes later she says there you go! what? what do you mean there you go? she literally trimmed like an inch off the bottom of my hair and didn't do anything else. Didn't ask me if I liked it didn't ask me if there was anything else she could do to help me, did not hand me a mirror so that I could see the back . can not believe that you can explain something is simple as a haircut to someone and they don't listen to a word you say I was gonna go back the next day and complain and I thought what's the point I might get somebody else just as dumb if not dumber, I don't recommend people that works there and I will never go back. read more

Maria always does a good job! She is thorough and takes her time. The only issue I have is with pricing. I had selected a partial foil value package for $118. At checkout I was told it would be $178 because the toner package is not part of the value package? I don't mind paying extra, but it should be clear what is being added and how much it will cost, and you should be told these items are being added so you know before checkout. Today was my first visit to this location for a single-process color. Rosana was my stylist. She was not particularly friendly, and made minimal attempts at small talk. She seemed more interested in chatting with the other stylists. Rosana also seemed annoyed and had an attitude when I asked her about the color she was about to apply. I asked if it covered gray well and she said "well that's why you're here, right?" She also did not apply a barrier or petroleum jelly around my hairline to prevent staining my skin. The color itself turned out fine but my hair still reeks of ammonia hours later. The salon itself was dirty. The floor was filthy and had a lot of hair and dirt around the chairs. The stylist in the next chair (I think her name is Alicia) was cutting another customer's hair. While I was getting my hair shampooed I heard her ask Rosana if she could blow dry that customer's hair because she had another appointment scheduled. Rosana said to let the third stylist (I don't know her name, but she has purple hair) do the blow dry. The third stylist appeared to be a trainee because she was practicing a hair style on a mannequin head. Alicia said "Deanna said she's not allowed to" and Rosana said "it's ok". So they are letting trainees work on customers. Just an FYI. Unfortunately, I don't plan to return to this location. read more

This is first time I had bad experience in any hair cuttery. They colored my hair for first time and was not done properly. Later again applied color still didn't color properly. Only good part is they took me early than my appointment time. read more

HIGHLY recommend Julia. Someone else did my hair and did a horrible job as you can see from the before pictures. The after pictures she corrected the balayage and went above and beyond to make sure so was satisfied. She is so passionate about her job and cares about her clients. Wow. I left here with tears in my eyes. My cut did not look anything like the picture. It's bulky, blunt, and somehow a cross between the Karen cut and a bowl cut. I asked Cristine, my stylist, to make the other side shorter like the picture. She said no, and insisted it just needed product. When she put it in, the product did not keep the hair in place. She kept trying to add more product and smooth it down, to no avail. She then took off the cape and sent me to the front. I know that she knows it looked bad too because she took before pictures but no after pictures. I may have to just shave it off. I've included pics of my hair and of the hair I wanted. I'm so sad, ugly, and embarrassed. I ended up shaving my head at home. read more

Avoid at all cost. Employees are extremely rude. I went in today and as the sign on the door says walk in appointments welcome. She said it was by appointment only and I said I didn't realize. She said she didn't have time for a color I said that is fine if you can just do the cut. She said I only have 30 min so I can't blow dry I said that is fine as well I just need it cut. She said no I don't have time I only have 15 minutes. I stopped in and had Patti do a full set of highlights and a trim. She did a great job. I just moved to the area and was hesitant about going to a Hair Cuttery since I usually go to high end salons- but I needed my hair done (roots were really showing) and it was done just beautifully. If you stop in, ask for Patti. For the record, I have reddish brown hair - and highlights can really be hit or miss if not done correctly. The price was extremely Reasonable. She was also very knowledgeable about which products to use for my hair to make it more manageable when I get out of the shower. I can't recommend her enough. read more

All the stylists are very nice. For walk-ins there can sometimes be a little wait but you can always check-in with the app to avoid a wait. Some of the stylists do take appointments. Prices are fair for the packages that are offered and the time it takes to do. read more

I really like getting my haircut by Georgia. I like to keep my straight hair at a medium length with bangs and she always gets it right! I have been to hip salons in the past and never like my haircuts. They were either over-cut or undercut. I am happy i found Georgia at this location.
