This salon has some of the most rude staff working the check in station. They scheduled me a hair cut then cancelled it and said the stylist decided that she only will do cut and color appts only. By then I did not have time to re schedule with a stylist I was not familiar with secondary to upcoming surgery. It's always freezing cold in there and they will Not offer to adjust temperature so u can at least get an experience without your teeth chattering. They have a poor variety of hair care products which are over priced. I will not ever go there again and will not be referring people there in the future.. read more

She can literally perform miracles She has taken such great care of my hair over the past 2-3 years! I can always count on her to work her magic and end up giving me exactly what I want! Typically I go in and tell her to do what she wants and work her magic because I trust her! She knows what she's doing and does it very well! She's very personable and kind! I moved to Edmond this year and I was on a hunt for a good hairdresser. I found Brandie Campbell on Instagram and I really loved her work. Brandie is also one of the owners of Hair + Co. The salon is very modern, sleek and it's open on Mondays which is very uncommon where I moved from. Makynna works alongside Brandie as an assistant, she's sweet, very attentive and well on her way being a great stylist! I've had three appointments thus far and each time I wanted something different ( unlike me) but Brandie delivered beautiful results. I appreciate the professionalism with which she communicates with Makynna and how smooth their operational system is. In this business good results are important but so is the efficiency with which one accomplishes those results. I had a great experience with Madie Burk here! First time I ever got my hair professionally colored ( & I was quite anxious if I'm being honest) but she was so sweet and non judgmental regarding what I wanted or the fact I'd used box color for years prior to growing out my natural color. She knew exactly what to do to achieve my goals of a more natural look to get the bottom of my hair to match the top. These pics are from one full appointment and I am very pleased with how well it turned out ! She was also very clear with realistic expectations on it fading & needing another appointment a few months out to either retone or recolor depending on how my hair does ( which I'm glad it did fade a bit so far because the bottom of my hair looked a bit darker than the middle right after it was done ) I will say that parking here is cramped during the morning I think it's because of the restaurant in the shopping center but yea beware lol read more

Scheduled a hair cut with stylist Madison. Just wanted a simple trim and some side bangs. Everything was great, she was extremely quick but I figured she was just skilled. Changing salons and going to Hair+Co was one of the best decisions I've ever made. The salon is beautiful, comfortable, and well maintained but more importantly everyone is friendly, helpful, and approachable. Hillary has taken my pandemic battered hair and made it beautiful again. Honestly, very grateful to have a straight forward stylist who will work with me, in a non-threatening way, and tell me if something's probably not going to work. She also never forces conversation on me if I go in after a night shifts . I absolutely love our conversations. I look forward to my visits here and even drove back from KCMO just to see her. I have called this salon several times trying to make an appointment and the lady that answers the phone is so rude. If you are being rude and short with me while I'm trying to make an appointment I can only imagine how you will treat me when I'm in the chair. I have been avoiding changing hair stylists since mine is back in Louisiana, 6 hours away. I've debated making the 12 hour round trip to have my hair done because change is exhausting! But enough people told me I was being dramatic and needed to pull my boot straps up. I found Hair & Co and Megan Skaggs. She was amazing. Was able to figure out exactly what I was looking for (since I had no idea what my original hairdresser actually did or what it was called). And she was the same price as my previous hair dresser My biggest fear was it looking streaky and unnatural. It's VERY natural looking, I've gotten multiple compliments, and it's easy upkeep. This is long, I know, but to sum it up, customer service sucks and whatever you do, don't go to Carly. Went in for a haircut and was placed with Carly. She asked if I wanted my hair colored bc she could see grey hairs peeking through. I said sure and she proceeded to put toner on my hair. Said she would be back to check on it in 15 minutes. Came back 7 minutes later, didn't check it and just rinsed *you could still see grey* but trying to not be a complainer I went with it. She then gave me my cut, (a LOT shorter than I wanted, but again, went with it) styled it and sent me on my way. When I got home and brushed my hair out I realized that the left side of my head had strands that were as long as my hair was when I came in, and the ENTIRE left size was about a half inch longer than the right side. Completely frustrated (bc I spent $115 on a crap service that day) I took scissors and trimmed the long pieces to match the left side so that when I went to work the next day it wouldn't look like I got a bad haircut. After work I stopped back by and talked with the blonde chick at the front desk. When I pulled my hair down; before I could get any words out she said "I see it, I'm so sorry!" And proceeded to get me an appointment with Morgan later that day. She told me that I would get a refund for the bad service, or that Morgan wouldn't charge me. I was grateful and came back later that afternoon to have my bad haircut by Carly fixed. Morgan did great, had to take more off to even it up bc it was so bad, but nonetheless it was better. Then she charged me for a full haircut. I don't blame her for this, bc she didn't make the mistake, but I was taken off guard bc I thought I wouldn't be charged. I paid without saying anything though, assuming I would receive a refund. I asked the lady at the front desk, who was different than the blonde one, and she; with no personality or customer service skills, told me to call tomorrow bc the manager was gone. So I did. Called, left a massage, waited 3 days, called again, left another message, waited 2 more days, went in IN PERSON and was condemned for being assertive. Was told that the manager was taking her mom to an MRI and scoffed at when I was frustrated that I'd been given the run around for 6 days. Finally go in the next day and make contact with the manager. She was going to refund me on the spot but the register only had $100 bills in it. I was told to come back the next day for a refund. Before I could return I was called and told that the owners would be in later that day and they would have a meeting about my refund. She said it needed to come from Carly since she was the one who gave the bad service. So I,again, wait. Get a call the next day saying that they decided not to refund me bc it is their "policy" that if you take scissors to your own hair any warranty on the service is void. I asked to see that in writing bc it wasn't anywhere on their site where I could find it and didn't see it posted in their shop either. She told me she didn't have time to have that conversation with me and hung up. So to sum it all up: For being awarded the title "best salon in OKC" in my opinion, they don't have it. Not The talent needed, not the policy, and sure as hell not the customer service. read more

Unfortunately, I have to mirror what another review said about Madison. I got a Halo extension. We planned to texturize and do a light balayage to better match the extension. The job felt very rushed, there was very little communication. I honestly felt really uncomfortable and like I was a bother. My hair turned out fine, but between extension, balayage and tip I spend well over $800. Would not return based on that. read more

I came here two or three times thinking I found my place. The gal was very sweet and obviously knows what she's doing. I have no doubt all of the girls here are very talented and knowledgeable. However, each time I came in, I explained I wanted color and not toner because I know how quickly it would fade out (and did) Each time, I left with TONER, while still paying $$$ for COLOR! I had zero issue paying the price for what I asked, but when I was charged for a service I didn't get and even specified that I did not want, that's really unfair. read more

For someone that books their appointments months in advance to accommodate the stylists schedule and line up with personal events, this is highly unprofessional. Won't be back here. I usually go to Rachel, which is great and she gets pretty close to what I want each time. She was booked so I decided to book with someone else. I researched this person on both her Instagram, Facebook, and Hair + Co's page as well. I went in for a full balayage and women's cut. My stylist asked what length I want my hair to be and she cut it at that length all the way around, just straight across and went on to color my hair. She had her assistant color one side of my head and she did the other. So the color is completely uneven and very noticeable when my hair is straight. She had double booked me and was spending a majority of her time with the other client. After I was washed out, she blow dried my hair and said that her assistant was going to curl my hair and I was done. I asked if she could finish my haircut and give my some kind of style like layers or framing. She said that she didn't think that would look good. So I asked if she could at least thin out my ends because I don't like thick ends and she asked me if I was sure. She then only thinned out my front sections and didn't touch the back. At this point, I'm furious and just want to leave. Her assistant curled my hair and told me it was $200, which on the website it says $180 but whatever. My stylist never came to check to see if I liked my hair before I left. When I get to my friend's house after, my friend told me that the back of my hair didn't even seem to be fully colored. I think this is completely ridiculous service, especially when you're making me pay $200!! It's been two months since I got it done and it's finally grown out a little bit and looks a little better. But don't waste your time or money, there's plenty of other places to go. read more

I have been using Hair & Co in Edmond Ok for over 2 years and feel like I should give a review based on their customer service and priorities today. I have been called SEVERAL times in the past few years by the stylist and asked to move my appt back..sometimes hours so I would just have to reschedule...remind you it takes a month or more to get another appt...I have had the stylist call and cancel due to a flat tire or dog emergencies. I have had my stylist call me to the chair 20-30 min late due to over booking and then pass me off to an assistant so she could go get a coffee or go to Habits and shop. I never complained, but today...I mixed up my appt times and showed up late. I was told the stylist couldn't take me. Ok, I'm mainly disappointed in myself for goofing up the times and causing the stylist to wait, but I waited over a month to get in and I was standing right there. They charged me $180 while the stylist worked on someone else. For the record I have never been late or not shown for an appt. I wasn't offered ANY service, just charged the full amount for being late. I truly don't expect special treatment, but I do expect consideration and common courtesy as a long time customer. I think she could've taken me back and let me fill whatever time I had left... which was A LOT. Stylists work hard for their money, I know, my daughter works in the beauty industry, but I work hard for my money too, and mistakes happen. read more
