Absolute Perfection!…read more I could not be happier with my hair! Today, June 2, 2026, Bee did a customized balayage, along with a root retouch and a trim, and the results completely exceeded all my expectations, as usual. Bee's technique is flawless--the transition from my freshly retouched roots into the warm caramel and honey-blonde highlights is incredibly seamless and dimensional. The trim was exactly what I needed, adding movement and bounce while keeping my hair looking healthy, smooth, and glossy. The attention to detail and skill are unmatched. Thank you for making me feel beautiful, Bee!

Hanh is the best!…read more Made an appointment after learning that she's specialized in butterfly haircuts and wow she did not disappoint. She was very thorough during the consultation to make sure I understand what she is about to do and that I also get what I came in for. My original hair was highlighted (super bleached/ashy) and had a bad layered cut (turns out I had a mullet I wasn't aware of lol). I wanted to return to my natural color and also get a cut to even out my layers. Within two hours, Hanh achieved the color and cut seamlessly through proper and detailed steps to repair my damaged hair. My experience with her was fantastic. She is so bubbly and fun to talk to and she is an expert in her field. I have never learned so much about hair ever in my life! Even for styling, she gave so many tips. Hanh, you should consider teaching if you ever plan to! Overall, I am a happy customer that left with beautiful voluminous hair. Will be back for a maintenance cut and a fun girly chat!

THE BEST If I could…read moregive her 10 stars, I absolutely would. I literally just got my haircut and had to write this review before even leaving, she's that good. I'll admit, I was pretty nervous going in since I hadn't had a haircut in years. My hair is straight, flat, and typically hard to style, and I was hoping to add some volume and soft curls but wasn't sure what would actually work. Hanh immediately put me at ease with her warm, funny, and welcoming personality. She's genuinely so kind. During the consultation, she really took the time to understand what I wanted and helped refine my ideas into something even better. I walked away feeling confident and excited instead of anxious. I showed her a few inspiration photos, and she didn't just match them--she completely exceeded them. She absolutely nailed the look, even better than I imagined. I rarely write reviews, but this experience truly deserved one. I'll definitely be coming back to her again!

The owners, Allen and Rita, are super friendly, fast, professional, and good at what they do. They made both my friend and I comfortable, and somehow got us both finished in a little more than 2 hours. I got a very much needed haircut and highlights, while she got a trim and perm. They're well versed in Taiwanese/Asian styles and we very much appreciated how they recommend us styles that suit our personalities and personal style. Since I have thicker hair, my total was $225 and $265 post tip. The salon itself is very clean, bright, and comfortable. It's minimally decorated and has everything needed for your hair styling needs. The parking is a bit fierce as it shares a space in a popular plaza, but as long as you make an appointment at a less popular time you should be good to go!

When I came for my actual appointment, Key was ready for me. At first, I was a little worried of the language barrier, but he was using Google Translate to help. When my hair was bleaching, he left for a while and I was overheating bc the AC couldn't reach me, but he quickly apologized and moved me and even used the cool setting of the hair dryer to help me cool down. From then on, he was more talkative and personable. I really liked my cut and color. It wasn't as ashy as I was hoping but it still looked good. It has been 3-4 weeks since my cut and I love how it's grown out. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a decently priced stylist. Total for my cut and color was roughly $375.

LONG POST! But I waited a year to give my honest opinion about Kay's work…read more I've been going to Kay for the past year and I'm so happy I found her! One of the things I appreciate most about Kay is that she actually listens to me. I'm pretty particular about how I want my hair cut, and she takes the time to understand what I'm asking for instead of just doing what she thinks would look best, I do ask for her opinion as well. I always leave feeling like my hair looks and feels like me. We haven't really gotten into coloring my hair just yet, and honestly, I appreciate that even more. I had previously bleached my hair with another hairstylist, and because Kay didn't know exactly what products or processes had been used on my hair before, I didn't want her to just jump into another color treatment. Instead, we've been patiently working on cutting off the previously bleached ends and getting my natural hair healthy again and just toning my hair. Once all of that old bleach is gone and my hair is completely natural, we can finally start working toward the color I want. I really appreciate how honest and careful Kay is with my hair. She's not just trying to do a service and send me on my way -- she actually cares about the long-term health of my hair and making sure we do things the right way. After having a baby and going through all the changes that come with that, having someone I trust with my hair has honestly been such a nice little form of self-care. I always look forward to my appointments with Kay, and I'm excited for the day we finally get to do my color! If you're looking for a hairstylist who listens, is patience, and genuinely cares about the health of your hair, I definitely recommend Kay! With that said, Not everyone is as patience as I am, I get it. Kay's work isn't for everyone. You have to find the hairstylist that fits your style and vibe. You might have to shop around a little.

After moving from the IE to Diamond Bar, I needed to find a hair salon that would be able to…read moreprovide me some layers and Korean two block haircut. After countless searches I found Hyun Hair studio and gave a quick phone call to Jennifer back in June. I previously had a chemical perm from another stylist, but wanted to have my natural straight hair since I had my wedding coming up. I booked an appointment with Jennifer in June and requested for my favorite two block haircut with some layers. You start off the service with getting your hair washed and then head over to the chair where Jennifer does her assessment of the next steps. Jennifer was really sweet and personable during the haircut and she also gave honest feedback on what worked for my face. The end result exceeded my expectations since the layers were done so well. Also a big bonus of this salon is the value for the services. A lot of salons and barbershops nowadays charge exorbitant prices that it's difficult to find somewhere affordable and high quality. Hyun hair had great prices that were very fair compared to other places. I loved my experience so much that I had Jennifer also do some layers for my wife. Below I've attached some photos of my two block haircut. I of course will be returning for my quarterly haircuts.

Side note: some of the hairstylists don't speak very great english.
