I have had my haircut twice with Pa. Both times were exceptional cuts. I was looking for a person who would listen to what I wanted as a cut, give me their professional opinion if the cut would work with my hair, and then actually cut it like the picture. Pa really listened to what I wanted in a haircut and she cut my hair exactly as what was in the picture. The cut grew in so nicely that I didn't even need a cut for a couple of months! After that, I decided I wanted to go shorter and let Pa do whatever cut she wanted that would work with my stipulations (hair would need to towel dry and no styling, no product use in my hair, hair not flying into my eyes). She listened to my concerns and I manage my hair exactly as I want to - with no work! Wow! She is an artist! I LOVE my hair and so did my family and friends. Again, it's been a couple of months and the haircut is so good that it still looks beautiful. I have tried many stylists in this area and I will not leave Pa now. She listens to what you want, is honest with her thoughts, and the salon is super safe in these Covid times. I'm a nurse and really appreciate the lengths they go to keep patrons and staff safe. In addition, Pa is a delight to speak with. Her passion for her work bubbles out in her delightful conversation. Omg! Pa is amazing! She is very professional and very experienced. I'm 30 years old and never quite had my hair done exactly the way I want it. She sat me down and I explained to her how I wanted I my hair done. She even sketched out a picture of how I explained how I wanted my hair exactly so we were on the same page before we began the process. She understands that each individual has different type of hair and takes color differently. I love how honest and how realistic she is. I wanted my hair bleach blonde but she explained that was not possible with one process and one sitting with compromising the health of my hair. So she lifted my hair to a beautiful light brown. And the next session we plan to go lighter... which is smart because that will give me time for my hair to repair and be ready to go through another bleaching process. When I returned to the Virginia area, I struggled to find anyone that I was happy with when it came to cutting and coloring my hair. I found Pa when she worked in Vienna and just knew, I had found my stylist. When she moved to Fairfax, I followed her out there. Then when she opened her own salon in Manassas, I followed her again. I live in Falls Church and even though I wish I didn't have to drive to Manassas, I do because I don't trust anyone else to cut, color or style my hair. And for 20 years, I've been going to NYC once a year for the Japanese Hair Straightening treatment. Pa said she could do it just as well I decided to let her do it. WOW! I was very impressed and she'll be doing it again in about a month or so. I now save on travel expenses to NYC which is also a bonus. I recently discovered Pa and she did a fabulous job on my hair. She had me search through a few hairstyle books and set aside a few examples that depicted what I had in mind. She then made some suggestions about what complemented my face shape and size. She spent considerable time with me making sure she understood what I wanted before even starting the cut and blow dry/style. Her cutting technique was unique and very precise. Twice I believed she was finished, but she went back to work making sure it was perfect. A nice wash and blowout later she was finished and it looked awesome. My girlfriend said it was the best haircut I've ever had. Pa is very friendly and eager to please. I have been back twice and plan to continue seeing her for my hair needs. Pa has been doing my hair for the past 2 years and I have followed her as she has moved, initially working for an established chain to independently. I don't explain well what I am seeking in a style, yet it only took 2 cuts to come up with a new look that is great for a 60 yo. Later, when facing the possibility of baldness from chemotherapy, she was wonderfully supportive! She has made herself available on short notice and the shop she now works out of (Rani Spa) has a delightful atmosphere - bathed in natural light, soft music, I am always offered something to drink - in short, I feel pampered. I've finally found a stylist who is equally great at hair color AND cut/styling. I used to have to split my time with one person who is only good at cuts and a different person for color. This is my first time going to Pa. Place is very convenient to me and parking is not a problem as well. You can pay thru cash or credit card (or if you prefer cash, there's a 7-eleven store beside the salon). She did an amazing haircut and treatment to my hair and she makes sure that you are happy with her work before she makes the final touches. Unfortunately my hair has been done for over a month now but I still love it! I got my hair done for a trip (which is why my review is so late) but I absolutely love my balayage. I randomly found her in Facebook market place because I need a hair cut for a party tomorrow, and I'm glad I did. Pa literally transformed my locked down hair into a party ready!
