Hi have been going to Megan for a number of years and I just cannot say enough good things about her!!!! Cuts: Although my hair is not overly complicated to cut - it can be a little feisty, naturally curly, not necessarily thick but I have a lot of it. I like to keep my hair short and stylist. She has never let me down, she listens to what I want and has performed miracles with her scissors. She offers suggestions on how to better care for my locks without trying to push products. She never judges (or at least not out loud) and I always feel comfortable asking her questions. Color: She is an absolutely INCREDIBLE colorist. She listens, takes the time to understand what you want, and makes it happen. I have aging hair - it's graying in all the wrong places - and she has a special flair for making it look healthy and vibrant. She never does more then I can maintain and manage and will actually color it for longevity rather than trying to get me to come back every couple of weeks. I have two teenage girls that love to "self color" - the horror! - and she has fixed it more than once. No judgment, just professionalism and gets them right back on track. I really can't say enough good things about Megan - if you want crazy complicated color that looks stunning -she's your girl. If you want an easy to maintain cut - she's your girl. I came back to Megan after she fixed my boxed ombre back in January. She did such an awesome job that I came back to her again. I had highlights done for summer and decided I want to go to ombre. I wanted something that would be low maintenance for the fall/winter. She is so friendly and sweet. Yay, I think I've found my new stylist! Found Megan on Yelp and reached out to her for an ombre/bayalage quote. She charges $80-$120, and if you want to add a haircut, it's $30 extra. Very reasonable prices! I contacted her through the number listed on Yelp and set up an appointment (btw, she is quite accommodating as well - I was able to see her after work as she does have some days with later hours, just ask). She is actually based in the Aloha Studio Salon in Poway (next to Home Goods). The whole process took about 2 hours and I was really happy with the results of my ombre! I have been receiving compliments since the day I got it. Megan is very sweet and professional. Totally worth it!! read more

She knew exactly what she was doing and my ombré color and extensions turned out absolutely GORGEOUS!!! My hair looks and feels so shiny and healthy. Megan was really great at making me feel at ease, because sometimes going to the hairdressers can be quite nerve-wracking! (I have had plenty of bad experiences). But she is really knowledgeable and good at her job and she made me feel confident that she would get the hair the shade and cut I wanted. When I walked in my hair was many different colors because I'd dyed it myself, but when I left it was a shiny brown shade that looked great. She recommended a Keratin treatment which no ones ever recommended so I wasn't sure it would work. (I have think wavy hair).
