Nice balcony, and actually saw a hot air balloon land in the nearby parking lot! Pool area was decent with lots of lounge chairs and a few cabanas. They do have room service, plenty of parking, on-site spa (did not try), and a wine tasting room (did not try) near the restaurant ... separated from the hotel. The decor in the lobby area is a little dated, but neat and clean -- front desk staff were very friendly.

I waited for over 10 minutes before I finally called the store to let them know I was there. While they were looking in to my order, someone came out with a cart full. My entire store order was available. Yay! Not only were all my items available, but the store associate loaded all my sodas (I purchased quite a bit of 12 pack sodas) into my trunk. One of the things I appreciate most about Kay is that she actually listens to me. I'm pretty particular about how I want my hair cut, and she takes the time to understand what I'm asking for instead of just doing what she thinks would look best, I do ask for her opinion as well. I always leave feeling like my hair looks and feels like me. We haven't really gotten into coloring my hair just yet, and honestly, I appreciate that even more. I had previously bleached my hair with another hairstylist, and because Kay didn't know exactly what products or processes had been used on my hair before, I didn't want her to just jump into another color treatment. Instead, we've been patiently working on cutting off the previously bleached ends and getting my natural hair healthy again and just toning my hair. Once all of that old bleach is gone and my hair is completely natural, we can finally start working toward the color I want. I really appreciate how honest and careful Kay is with my hair. She's not just trying to do a service and send me on my way -- she actually cares about the long-term health of my hair and making sure we do things the right way. She was very thorough during the consultation to make sure I understand what she is about to do and that I also get what I came in for. My original hair was highlighted (super bleached/ashy) and had a bad layered cut (turns out I had a mullet I wasn't aware of lol). I wanted to return to my natural color and also get a cut to even out my layers. Within two hours, Hanh achieved the color and cut seamlessly through proper and detailed steps to repair my damaged hair. My experience with her was fantastic.
